Superb location. Beautiful coastline view from window. Hotel is nicely decorated with modern décor and furnishings. Staff very welcoming and attentive. Good facilities. Room kept very clean.

The photos indicate a balcony that could be sat on but this is not the case for the majority of the rooms. It’s more of a safety rail. So, don’t go there thinking you can enjoy a sea view from your room whilst sat down. Only one chair provided in a room for a couple. There was a pouffe/stool but no good for sitting on for any amount of time. There wasn’t space in the room in any case to be able to just sit and read or whatever which we found limiting considering we were there for a week. You don’t always want to go downstairs to the communal areas to read or relax. You don’t want to have to lie on the bed all the time you’re in the room either. The shower enclosure! Dangerous to say the least. It was very small - so small that I had to kind of manoeuvre myself in as the opening was so narrow. You had to step up about 30cm which doesn’t sound much but is tricky when stepping out with nothing to hold on to for support. Fine for those who are fairly agile but for those of a certain age (and there were a fair proportion of those in the clientele), it would be downright dangerous. No anti-slip mat obviously. Evening meal We were quite happy to explore the food on offer in the restaurants in Morgat for the first few days and enjoyed the 20 minute walk to and fro. One time we had thought we would try the restaurant, all places were already reserved. The next day, we reserved first thing in the morning. The restaurant evening service worked on a self-service buffet arrangement for the starters and then we chose a ‘plat’ for the main which was brought to our table. I wish we had taken photos. We both did a double take at what had been put in front of us. My husband was presented with rice topped with some chunks of sweet potato which were turning brown. There was one slice of jambon covered with what looked like school dinner gravy. I had mac and cheese. Nothing special at all. Could have been from a tin. Very bland. Dessert wasn’t much better.

The view is fantastic over the bay, beautiful terraces, great service and extremely helpful receptionist.

The location is absolutely perfect. You enter the sea from the doorsteps of the hotel. The sea view from our room was perfect.

The half board was quite horrible, both breakfast and dinner. We only spent 3 nights there, and in the end didn't bother to go elsewhere. Food-wise it did feel like a youth-hostel, but then most other people didn't seem to mind very much. It seemed like some money could be spent on maintenance, for example, the lights in the elevator were really dim. The furniture was mostly cheap plastic, which didn't go with the relatively high price for the room.

Perfect location, view from the balcony was amazing. Stairs that lead just into the sea! Nice bed. Breakfast is good. We also liked the old board games available in the bar. In the evening they had nice band singing French songs. Free wine during dinner and big choice of starters and desserts.

Elevator was a bit scary: dark, slow and indicator with floors was wrong. Price can be lower. Main dish at dinner could be better, steak was too salty. Coffee is bad.

Manque d’une fontaine à eau dans l’entrée de l’hôtel. Car possibilité de remplir les gourdes qu’à l’origine l’ouverture du restaurant.

Chambre petite et avec fuite à la périphérie de la douche. Les petites tables de chevet coincées entre mur et lit rendent difficile le branchement d'un téléphone ou ordinateur. Service de repas moyen Aspect extérieur moyen (poubelles à l'entrée du jardin où sont garées les voitures) Cet hôtel se dit être classé 4*, alors qu'il est plutôt un 2,5*.
