About this house rental

1938 home 3 Bedroom 1 Bath sleeps 8. Hide away bed in the living room couch. Spacious living and dining room. Beautiful original Fireplace/electric. Central Heat and air. Ceiling fans, Outdoor living/dining area. Great area to watch your favorite sports team while grilling your favorite meals. Wonderful covered porches.
Wi Fi and Dish network. Garage was first location in Harper for the volunteer fire dept. truck, a must see. Kitchen has eat in dining. and all utensils for cooking. Laundry room on site. Play an outdoor game of horseshoes or one of the many games we have provided inside, dominoes, cards and various board games. We welcome you with a Texas wine. Please e-mail me to let me know if you prefer red or white wine.

We were in Harper for a family event, so it was very convenient to be able to stay close to the rest of the family. Very clean, comfortable and cozy.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The road noise was loud in the front bedroom but a loud noisemaker cancelled it out.

This was a quaint cozy 3-bedroom house. Weather was perfect so we didn't use the AC or heater. The covered breezeway was so wonderful for chatting sipping wine and relaxing. Restaurant, music venue, and park all within walking distance.

Cute house wirh some beautiful furnishings. Thw inly problem is the lack of cellular service and wifi. Not the fault od the property or owner. Just made it difficult to communicate with our group and foe the teenagers to "connect".

Fit our needs fine. Needed a place in that part of the world for family visit on nearby ranch. Appreciated the personal host welcome and tour of property. Also appreciated multiple night lights! One minor suggestion from old folks would be safety bar in shower. Will be back!

We had such an amazing stay here!! We traveled to Fredericksburg during the day and had a beautiful drive between the house and Fredericksburg. If you're traveling to this area, I highly recommend this place!! The hosts were so kind and helpful!! I hope to stay here again!!

Place was super clean! Had lots of extra supplies if needed! Gas station close, Mexican restaurant, and the longhorn cafe we ate breakfast at both days!! Saturday night there was a live band across the street, we got our pjs on and sat in the front porch and enjoyed it! Definitely will be back when weather is warmer to enjoy the outside stuff better! Loved the charm and history of the place, we all 3 said multiple times we felt like we were staying the weekend at grandma's house!

Perfect location, just far enough from town to be peaceful and close enough to do all the shopping and see lots of beautiful Christmas lights. Very clean and the owners are super nice and helpful. We will be staying again for another family get away. Loved it.

We enjoyed staying at Kaiser House so much! The kids unplugged and played board games, cards, ran outside, roasted hot dogs and s’mores, and actually enjoyed themselves a whole lot. They wanted to stay longer! The hosts are so accommodating and friendly! I highly recommend this stay if you want a taste of simple memorable enjoyment!

The property manager was very helpful and the house had plenty of space for our family and lots of extra towels and sheets.We knew it was on HWY 290 but didn’t realize how close. The road noise at night was apparent, beds and pillows were uncomfortable and the ac return air vent kept making noise during the night every time it turned on. We didn’t mention it to property manager during our stay because we only were there at night to sleep. It was an inexpensive house to stay but we didn’t get a good nights sleep we’d hope for the two nights we stayed.the check in and out process was very easy and that’s was nice.

Me and 3 of my dearest friends came to Fredericksburg for our “sister trip”. This home was perfect for us. The patio was a great place for outdoor evening dominoes. The history of the home was quite interesting. The drive in to Fredericksburg was short and included beautiful scenery. Everything was conveniently located. We would definitely stay here again.

We loved our Girls Trip! The house had everything we needed. We also tried both restaurants, Longhorn Cafe and the Mexican food place, both were good. House is also a very short walk from Valero. We really enjoyed staying in this lovingly taken care of home. It is fun to stay in a family home that is so obviously cherished by the owners. It is very spacious with the living room, dining room, and three bedrooms. We enjoyed the outdoor grill, having a washer/dryer and the added bonus of 4 TV’s on cable. It was immaculate and we really liked the location close to Fredericksburg.

This is a great house, especially during covid because of the large patio. We had friends visit us and there was plenty of space to spread out to eat lunch outside. The house is cute, comfy, clean, and had everything we needed. The local restaurant has good food for takeout. The market is adequate for odds and ends, and Fredericksburg and Kerrville are nearby for larger shopping. Be aware that this is a very small town with minimal compliance with covid measures.

Enjoyed our stay again! We came to Harper to visit family. Our 2nd time staying here and we always enjoy it! Owner and property manager very friendly and quick to respond back. House is always very clean and comfortable.
