Lake View and Access, Close to National Parks

A good location for the park. Quiet neighborhood. Clean

Beautiful property that has stunning views. Walking distance to coffee shop! But owner provides fantastic coffee in house. Set up of the home is nice and worked great. Property manager communicates super quickly and is friendly and accommodating! No complaints. Plan to stay again when we visit family here next time.

The location is both stunning and convenient. We loved the place, laundry was easy, and kitchen had what we needed. We will 100% come stay again!

We only stayed one night and had a great time. Enjoyed the lake views. Only wish the house had paddleboards to use on the water. But there is a dock and swimming area that was a lot of fun. The home has a lot of games and we enjoyed the cool evening on the patio.

This home was the perfect place for our family group of 6 for 3 nights. 1 teen and a young child were able to share the bunk room comfortably and all of the beds, pillows and bedding were incredibly comfortable. The view and wall of surrounding lush green mountains was so dreamy. What an amazing home and setting to relax at and take day trips from. We will miss it and could’ve stayed a week there, if we had the time. Thank you Lopez family!

We recently stayed at this home right off of Lake Sutherland very close to Lake Crescent. It was located really well to most of the Olympic attractions. You are right in the middle of the eastern attractions like Hurricane Ridge which in my mind is #1 thing to see in Olympic National Park and the western attractions like Ruby Beach. House was well equipped with everything we needed and Tara was very responsive and helpful. The place was very new and fresh and beds very comfortable. Wi-fi was great for streaming family movies and fire pit for smores. Only small complaint was the pictures show a Propane grill, but only a charcoal grill was available. Other than that would highly recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at the lake house! Beautiful view from the hill of the lake. House was well stocked with everything we needed and the beds were very comfortable. We would love to stay here again if we're in the area.

We appreciated the clean and comfy environment! As stated in other reviews the only mild disappointment was the lack of cushions on the outdoor furniture but I also understand that they would be easily ruined by guests and a lot of work to maintain. Thank you for a wonderful stay. We would love to come back again soon!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this charming lake house! The five of us felt very much at home. House was very clean and comfortable. Loved the outdoor patio and close proximity to the lake. Convenient place for exploring Lake Crescent and Sol Duc areas! Would definitely stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay at the lake house - the views from the house and patio are amazing and we spent hours watching bald eagles fly over the lake. The house itself is very comfortable, super clean, and has quality appliances if you're going to cook or do laundry. The location is also very convenient to hiking trails near Crescent Lake, such as Marymere Falls.

Our family really enjoyed our time on Sutherland Lake. Beautiful views, easy access to the sites, and quiet neighborhood. The house is well stocked and the sectional is comfy making our down time comfortable.

House was very clean and had everything we needed. It is located in a nice spot. Near to all the places in Olympic National Park. It is in a gated community. Very calm and neighbors very friendly. The lake view is awesome from the property.

What a great place to start from for exploring the North Olympics over Spring Break. The house was pristine, in terms of cleanliness, and the veiw over the lake and to the snow-covered hills beyond was fantastic. Easy striking distance to the trails around Lake Crescent, Salt Creek, the Sol Duc, Elwah. We even made it out to the Hoh. Would certainly recommend and stay again. In the summer, the opportunity to bring a boat and moor it on site would be VERY appealing.

This clean, spacious, well-appointed Lake Sutherland home was a perfect base for my family’s visit to Olympic National Park. We really appreciated the large, comfy living room, the patio dining space and the quiet of the community. We would certain come back if given the chance!

We loved this home! We wanted to hike in Olympic National Park for a few days and chose this home based on the location. The home is fresh and feels new. Everything was clean and modern. The kitchen was fully stocked- we cooked dinner each night and had everything we needed for amazing meals. There was a Weber grill, but we didn't use it. The beds were so comfortable- fell right asleep (seriously, probably among the most comfortable beds we have ever been in)! The home has a wonderful view of the lake and the mountains, which we enjoyed. The upper balcony off the loft was a wonderful place to sit and have a cocktail and relax looking at the mountains. There is also a side deck off of the kitchen perfect for having dinner or relaxing. At night, we had great views of the stars with minimal light interference. Our host was responsive to all of our questions and wanted to make sure we were comfortable. We would definitely choose this home again! A few logistics... we are coffee people (we left at 6am for hikes). They have a Keurig, so bring your own Kcups. BUT, they also have a French press, which gave us amazing coffee each morning, so if you travel with your own grounds, this is a win! The home is in a gated community, so you get a key card to let you in. Get your groceries in Port Angeles- but there is a general store within walking distance if you need something quick. The home is in a lake-side community, and there was a paddle boat that we saw at the house, but we weren't sure if we were allowed to use it- and there were no life jackets, so aside from a designated swimming area that is roped off, this is probably not a "lake-house". No worries, though, because Olympic National Park has literally everything you need: hiking trails, beaches, rain forest! Loved this home and would recommend it to everyone!

Everywhere you looked, the view of the lake was gorgeous. The house had views from the living room, loft and porch. We enjoyed relaxing and watching the sun set. The beds were comfortable and the kids loved the games and the comfy couch! Great spot to jump into the park!

We rented here because it was close to many popular hikes in Olympic National Park. The property was nicer than expected. Our only complaint was that the weather was so rainy that we didn’t get to properly enjoy the outdoor space. The home is in a truly lovely setting with spectacular views of the lake.

This house is on a private lake with a couple of water equipment to enjoy. It is also very close to lake crescent area with tons of activities. The host was also very nice and flexible. We'll probably stay here again if going to that area.

We enjoyed our stay. The location and views of the surrounding mountains and lake are really amazing. The only problem we encountered is that most of the patio furniture does not have cushions so we had a difficult time getting comfortable outside. It was a bummer because the views are so amazing and we couldn’t enjoy them fully. The listing had photos of the furniture with cushions so we did feel let down when we arrived and realized they were missing. Tara did let me know that another guest ruined them but we spent good money to rent a place with outdoor space so they should have been replaced in my opinion. Aside from that we had a great stay and would recommend to family and friends. The access to the lake was a nice bonus.

Beautiful spot for exploring the Olympic Peninsula. House was clean and in a beautiful setting. Owner was great if we needed anything and the kitchen was well equipped. Great spot for a family vacation!

We loved this magical home. Our family with four teenagers stayed here for four nights as a base for a hiking trip through various days in Olympic National Park. It was a wonderful spot and very tranquil in the area where I truly don’t think there are many places that can be so relaxing and central. The lake is just beautiful to look out at and there are ample spaces for comfortable living as well as gorgeous decks and an outside eating area. The hosts were very helpful and responsive and the home had all amenities we needed. I would most definitely come back here and cannot recommend it enough having rented many many places over the years this is truly at the top of our list!!!

We had the perfect getaway at Olympic NP made all the better because of this beautiful home and it's wonderful location. Everything about our stay was excellent! It was just too short.

The house was very clean and close to trails at Lake Cresent. It’s about 20 minutes from Port Angeles for groceries and coffee. Beautiful views from the deck and balcony. Not really able to take advantage of lake Sutherland unless you bring your own lake gear. The house has kayaks but not for guests to use. We had 2 teenagers and the bunk bed is not designed for over 75 pounds so that caused a bit of a hickup but otherwise it was a great vacation.

We needed a change of scenery and this was a great, comfortable base camp for hiking in Olympic National Park. Great for families with kids.

I couldn’t be more thrilled with this perfect property. I’m only trying to figure out when I can book it again. The lake is incredible, the house is pristine, you’ll want for nothing and it’s just a truly excellent property in every way!
