About this house rental

Beautiful home furnished log style. It has 65 in high definition TV, 5 person hot tub, BBQ, gas log fireplace, washer and dryer, and dishwasher. The kitchen has stainless steel appliances and large refrigerator. There is a coffee maker and toaster oven. We have 3 bedrooms with King bed in Master bedroom and queen beds plus single beds in each of the other 2 bedrooms. There is a large master bathroom and a shared bathroom connected to both bedrooms. Also a half bathroom on lower floor. There is a regulation ping pong table and air hockey game in the game room.

Walking distance to Boulder Bay park with kayak, biking sledding, and paddle board rental a block away. Park has large fishing pier and picnic areas with restrooms. Many hiking trails and sledding places are nearby. Alpine water park and snow tubing a couple of miles away. Ski resorts close by with bus stop right in front that takes you there or to beautiful downtown area with many nice restaurants and great shopping in stylish boutiques.

Only thing not disclosed is it being a duplex. No one stayed in other unit while we were there so I can't comment on sound traveling through the walls. Had a wonderful time. Would definately recommend to others.

This cabin was fantastic, and we’d stay again. While it’s a duplex, it does not feel like it. The interior is spacious and comfortable. We stayed there with our three kids (10, 13, 15) and my elderly parents. It’s a joy to discover all the details in the decor that exude life in Big Bear. We used the hot tub every night. The cabin is a short walk to Boulder Bay, where there is a nice park. I would recommend this cabin to everyone.

We had a wonderful time with a surprise snow storm. The only issues we had during our stay was no heat in the game room with missing equipment. ( no table for ping pong, balls missing for pool and no darts for the dart board.) The primary bedroom shower head is broken - the water sprays unevenly and the head needs replacing. Overall our stay was very nice and the location is perfect.

Great location and having the hot tub and game room was nice to keep the family entertained. There was plenty of space to spread out, but also plenty of areas to spend time together. Boulder Bay Park was very close (walkable if you wanted but we drove as it was a little far if you are bringing things with you). The Mineshaft Coaster/Alpine Slide and The Village were a short drive away. We had a really nice stay.

This is a duplex. It doesn’t say that in the listing. The place could be very nice. The owners just need to take a weekend and work on things. The upstairs guest bathroom toilet did not work. It had no water in it. I emailed the owner & he offered to get a plumber out asap, but I didn’t want to deal with that while we were on vacation. So my kids used the downstairs bathroom. The master bath toilet room had no working light and no working fan. The same bathroom had no hot water in one of the sinks. The kitchen faucet was loose and made it hard to turn in and off. And the pans in the kitchen are gross and really old. I’ve seen multiple reviews about the pans. At the price I paid, they could easily buy a new set. If some basics updates were made, this place would be great. The location is really good. And it was nice having a hot tub to go in, in the evenings. They even provided sleds for the snow which was nice. But the price was hefty for the conditions.

My family and I rented this property for a short ski trip after Christmas. It was fantastic and we will absolutely return in the future. The layout of the cabin/home was excellent. It has a ton of space but still felt cozy. The kitchen is fully stocked. We used the hot tub and game room often. The property manager was attentive and communicated well. We had a blast.

Everything was perfect! I love that everything is labeled, you're not wondering if trying to figure anything out, everything is so user friendly. It made out stay here so perfect like I'd we lived here because we knew exactly how everything worked. It's very comfy, cozy, literary felt right at home. The pictures on vrbo do no justice. This cabin was a perfect fit for my family. I was very impressed with how well everything was stocked. Really all we needed to pack was clothes and food 🥘 everything else was provided down to laundry soap 🧼 , shampoo , and every amenity that is used on a daily basis in my own home. The game room was very fun we spent hours in there with the kids. Also the few times we needed to message Woody the owner he was very responsive and took care of all of our needs we would definitely recommend this property to others !!! Great Time 😊

Great location. Short 5 minute walk to the lake. And 5 minute drive to the Village. Enjoy a cup of coffee on the wrap around deck in the morning .Then, relax and sip on a libation in the jacuzzi at night. Lovely.

This cabin was great. Everything was perfect. While the few hiccups we had could not even begin to put a damper on what was available to us. I do think you should let people know it’s a duplex prior to booking, I would have no problem returning to this cabin. Thank you Woody and Stacey

Me and my family had a blast. The house was very clean and cozy. The only negative issue is that it’s a duplex. Other then that no complaints. My favorite was the king bed in the master bedroom so comfortable. We had a family of 7 three adults and four kids it was perfect for all of us.

The property was a short walk from Boulder Bay and a ten minute drive from surprisingly good restaurants. The hot tub was great. Comfortable beds. Laundry. Game room (we played a lot of ping pong) - nice and quiet and a relaxing time with our grown kids.

Amazing cabin! nice location! just the right size for my family. Walking distance to the market, Boulders Bay Park and canoe rental. We absolutely enjoyed our stay there. The only thing the cabin needs is new pots and pans rather than that we had a fantastic time.

This cabin was great for the amount of money I paid, unfortunately we were not very happy that it was part of a duplex unit and it was not described as such online. There was some issues when we arrived but we took care of them, cleanliness was not up to par but it was ok. Beds were really hard and uncomfortable to sleep on, everyone woke up with achy backs and complaining of not sleeping well. Jacuzzi tub was ok, but when we call the manager to see if they can clean it no one came to do it. Overall it was ok for the money.

Stayed here with my family.. wife, 4 young adults and 5 year old. Perfect size with the 3 bedrooms. We all had fun with the game room and loved having a lot of snow in the back and on the side of the house to play in. Probably will rent again next winter.

We really enjoyed staying at Woody's cabin in Big Bear. The layout is great and the amenities were perfect for our needs. Woody’s place was great! Lots of room to spread out, a really well stocked kitchen as far as pots/pans, tableware. Clean and private hot tub, beds and linens were comfortable, lots of towels for showers and hot tub use. Furnishings were themed to a log cabin and very comfortable, and I am pretty picky! Communication with the local manager was great and we got some great tips. Thank you, Stacey! The only very small downside is that the house is right on a pretty busy intersection, so there was somewhat constant traffic noise, though it wasn’t a huge deal if you were inside with the doors closed.

Our trip to Big Bear was absolutely amazing. The kids had a wonderful time riding bikes, running around, hiking and fishing. You are SO close to an area that is popular for fishing. The roads are perfect for bike riding and the house is a true gem. The open concept of the house with kids was ideal. Thank you again for letting us stay!

Great location and great house! Loved the decor, the hot tub, the game room and the whole house. Close to the park. Rented kayaks right around the corner which was awesome. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need. Loved having extra blankets in the family room as well as the bedrooms. Only thing we needed to bring was food and coffee. Highly recommend this property.

My extended family (6 adults and a baby) stayed at this house. It was perfect for our family. It was walkable to Boulder Bay Park, close to downtown and on quiet street. The home was well stocked, quiet and clean. We enjoyed the deck and enough space for all of us. Woody was amazing, our first rental canceled our reservations on us three weeks before our trip and we were nervous about finding another spot as we had booked our previous spot months prior. However, we were delighted when we found this home and had amazing contact with the owner. He was quick to respond and exceptionally easy to book through. While our family tries to vacation somewhere new every year, we will keep this as a great fall back option for another summer trip.

We have stayed at a number of Big Bear cabins , Woodys was the best - no question . We came up during the big Storm of 2/22/19,and was greated by 4 ‘ of fresh snow -it was awesome . The home is almost new , clean , great accoutrements. We will come here again - Thanks Woody
