HomePlace features two casita-style guest suites, Willow and Cottonwood, both of which are nestled into the lower side of an authentic timber frame home. Each has a completely separate entrance with no interior door connecting to the larger home, making them comfortably private. As part of Prairiewood Tallgrass Preserve, guests have access to over 400 acres of native and restored tallgrass prairie, including a private dock on Wildcat Creek with awaiting kayaks, miles of hiking and walking trails, and Walnut Pond picnic area with its surrounding Bird, Bee & Butterfly Sanctuary.

Bathtub was perfect for a pregnant momma to relax in, during a night away from the toddler. Was a great romantic getaway for Valentines celebrating date.

This is my 3rd stay, 2 in this suite, one in the larger suite. All have been excellent. There are excellent trails to walk and it's quiet. I highly recommend this for a solo escape or with a partner.

We had a great get away for our 16 year anniversary. We were able to slow down for the weekend. We went hiking, canoeing, and kayaking while there, we had the whole place to our selves (at least it felt that way). We enjoyed a private breakfast on the patio while entertaining the lone chicken. All the small touches like snacks, flowers, and a hand written note made us feel so welcome. Absolutely would visit again!
