Un paradiso per chi cerca relax e contatto con la natura. L’aria fresca e il silenzio del bosco ci hanno rigenerati, rendendo ogni momento un’esperienza di pace assoluta.
La struttura è accogliente, pulita e curata. I gestori sono gentili, disponibili con consigli su percorsi di trekking nei dintorni e su come esplorare al meglio il Gargano.
La posizione è ideale per gli amanti della natura: i sentieri per il trekking partono praticamente dalla porta del B&B. La colazione, con prodotti locali freschi, è stata un momento speciale per iniziare la giornata immersi nel verde.

La posizione di questa meravigliosa casa cantoniera è proprio all'interno della foresta umbra, circondata dai faggi e vicinissima al centro daini e al laghetto della foresta. Le camere sono pulitissime e molto comode, arredate con gusto. La colazione ottima, con torte fatte in casa, di vario tipo, tutte buonissime! Anche la cena nella struttura è stata una bella scoperta: cibo semplice e di qualità, proprio come dovrebbe essere quello offerto da una struttura sita nel cuore di un bosco! Mio figlio ha detto che le orecchiette con sugo e cacioricotta erano le piu buone mai mangiate e io invece ho apprezzato davvero tanto il pancotto locale! La sera è possibile apprezzare il silenzio del bosco, osservare le volpi che passano nei dintorni della struttura e godere del meraviglioso cielo stellato che fa da volta. Insomma, ci torneremo sicuramente!!!!

We stayed here for 2 nights end of June. This is a super quiet BnB in the middle of Forestra d'Umbra (forest of shadows), and it was perfect for exploring the forest by foot. Lots of walking routes of different lengths directly from the house. It was such a lovely break from the summer sun to be in the forest for a couple of days. Dinner was delicious and very reasonably priced. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful despite our terrible Italian skills!
The BnB is in the middle of the forest so does require a car to get to it. There are nearby towns that you can visit by car, including the pretty Monte Sant'Angelo. I had a lot of fun driving the winding forest roads!
The rooms were beautiful, clean, and cool.
As with everywhere in Italy, bring a few € cash for the tourist tax.
I can't really think of anything that needed improvement, hence the top ratings. Obviously, don't come here if you want a party or a pool, but it's perfect for a quiet forest escape in a beautiful setting.
Breakfast was fairly basic, but perfectly sufficient for our needs!

Beautiful location right in Umbra forest. Hosts Michaele and Laura so gracious and welcoming. Comfortable, clean room. Michaele expert guide for hikes in forest. Freshly baked cakes at breakfast courtesy of Laura. 30 minute drive to coast to visit Vieste and Peschici.
Hairpin turns coming up mountain but even that was a memorable part of our adventure!
