The location was excellent, in a quiet street, but close to the main attractions. All the facilities in apartment were very good, and access was arranged easily via text and email.

Bit of a comfort sacrifice for access to the heart of old Avignon

The property was in good contact beforehand about the entry procedure and codes. As soon as you walk downstairs in the morning you're in the center of the old town. There are theaters, historic buildings and places to eat everywhere.

The sleeping arrangement is just a thin surface, not even a twin bed from what I could tell. If you took a sofa, removed the back part and the arms, that's what this bed is. But it was soft enough. If you're not fussy about the surface you sleep on, you'll be fine.

Fast check in and check out to a very enjoyable stay

Fun and fast, let me explain : when we made our reservation we received a message via Whatsapp with basic informations. Then, the day before, we received our entrance codes, driving directions and walking directions from the public parking. I asked the same way some suggestion for our visits and we received two very interesting itineraries. On site, it was the same way to communicate, very fast and efficient. So, the check in took me the time to type a code. Rooms are comfortable, well equipped and nicely decorated.

Just a small regret after all, I did not had the opportunity to thanks the owner personally

Centrally located, quiet neighborhood, fully automated.

All contacts before checkin via Whatsapp and phone. Very clear instructions. We were in the top room (Molière) near the terrace and it can be hot in the afternoon. The room itself is large and comfortable. The kitchenette is well equipped.

The public parking is a bit far and, if we had air conditioning, our stay would have been perfect but the oruce was fair for the season. Please let us know if you install A/C, we will come back and even pay more )))

Ich würde gerne wieder kommen, ... wenn da nicht ein dickes ABER wäre.

Sauberkeit 10 Punkte (super sauber alles), Ausstattung 8 Punkte (warum: siehe unten), WLAN 10 Punkte - stabil wie selten, ich denke so gutes WLAN hatte ich noch niemals! Ich möchte dass der der das eingerichtet hat, mal mein WLAN einrichtet. :-) Lage 10, Ruhiges Appartment mit Zugang zu einer sehr schönen Terrasse. In den Bewertungen bemängelten viele die "Personallosigkeit" des Objektes ... das fand ich war kein Problem, erhöhte die Ruhe!

Die Unterkunft ist fast perfekt, gerne würde ich nächstes Jahr wiederkommen - aber es gibt zwei, drei Dinge die mich davon abhalten würden, eigentlich völlig unnötige Dinge. 1. Badezimmer und damit die Toilette haben keine Tür zu den Wohnräumen, obwohl es dafür keinerlei Gründe gibt 2. dieses bizarre Fenster von der Küche mit Blick auf die Toilette! Wer bitte hat sich das ausgedacht? Bei Castorama gibt es sicher für kaum 100 Euro eine Tür die man anschrauben kann, das Fenster mit zwei kleinen Stücken Gipskarton zumachen. Erledigt alles ein Mann in zwei Stunden. Und bei der Gelegenheit, das Badezimmerfenster könnte einen etwas besseren Sichtschutz vertragen, meine Frau fand es wenig lustig beim duschen Sichtkontakt mit den Mietern im Appartment oben zu haben - die haben übrigens auch perfekten Blick auf die Toilette. Ansonsten gibt es keine größeren Mankos, aber Tipps: Auf der Terrasse wäre es schön, wenn es dort ein paar Liegestühle gegeben hätte! Schutzbezüge für Stühle und Tische wären auch nicht schlecht, so halten sie nicht nur länger, sie sind auch nicht so vollgekackt von den Tauben. Ach ja, der Check-Inn war etwas holprig, den Keycode hatte ich auch auf mehrfache Nachfrage per Whatsapp nicht erhalten, erst auf Anruf. Aber sowas kann mal passieren.

Die Lage mitten in der Altstadt und quasi im Festival d‘Avignon und dass es eine Klimaanlage gab und dass es ruhig war.

In erster Linie die merkwürdige und gar nicht gastfreundliche Kommunikation mit den Besitzern des Hotels oder den Managern. Die doppelte Aufforderung über e-mail am Tag vor der Abreise, dass ich doch bitte um 10:00 am nächsten Tag raus sein sollte und quasi eine Ermahnung, dass ich eine sehr gute Bewertung hier abgeben soll oder muss für die gute Sichtbarkeit des Hotels im Netz. Außerdem hatte ich das Gefühl, wenn ich irgend eine Kleinigkeit nicht nach unfreundlicher Anweisung mache, dann dafür über meine hinterlegte Karte bezahlen muss. Darum habe ich demonstrativ meine Mülltüten in die Überwachungskameras gezeigt, als ich sie heraustrug, um sie wie angewiesen ganz am Ende der Straße in die Müllcontainer zu legen, ebenso habe ich es mit der aus der Gemeinschaftsküche entliehenen Müslischale gemacht, als ich sie zurück gebracht habe. Es ist sehr schräg, dass überall Kameras sind, die einen aufnehmen, man selbst aber diejenigen, die für das Hotel zuständig sind nie zu sehen bekommt. Ich hatte das Gefühl, dass die extrem unter Druck stehen und diesen an ihre Gäste weiter geben. Ich habe mich deshalb und wegen der totalen Dunkelheit des Studios ( immer elektrisches Licht nötig) nicht wohl gefühlt, die Stadt und das Festival dennoch sehr genossen. Ich werde für das nächste Festival d‘ Avignon eine andere Unterkunft wählen.

Tuttavia il quartiere nonostante vicino al centro, permette di conoscere una realta' originale di Avignone, dove la vita non e' dettata dal turismo, ma dagli abitanti di Avignone.
