This single-story, 2,300 sq ft home sits directly on beautiful 3,320-acre Lake Placid, known for its white sandy beach and clear, sandy bottom. There's no other lake like it in the area.
This isn't a "rental unit." It's our family lakehouse, which we share so other families can make memories here. Built in the '60s, it keeps its old-Florida charm with modern comforts. Two bedrooms and a bath are on one side of the house, and the third bedroom and second bath are on the other. The huge Florida room is perfect for movies and relaxing after a day on the water. The back of the home faces west, so you'll catch the most beautiful sunsets every evening.
Perfect for winter stays: The home is set up for monthly and seasonal guests, with a full kitchen, washer and dryer, Wi-Fi, and covered parking. Bring your boat, kayaks, or fishing gear. Booking January–March? Message us about our seasonal rate.
Lake Placid offers festivals year-round, Sebring is 15 miles away, and Disney is about 90 miles away.

The lake house is very spacious and comfy...larger than the pictures show. We brought our kayaks and enjoyed exploring the lake. Turtles, fish, different types of birds, and even otters kept us entertained. If you love to boat or fish, you could not pick a better area. The dock is perfect for relaxing and watching the sunsets. The front road is used by residents, so the area is peaceful and quiet. Everyone we met was friendly. The town is small but has so much to offer if you take the time to check it out. Joel is a great host and responds quickly when contacted.
