About this house rental
Modern 4 bedroom log cabin situated on 30 acre farm just off the Howqua Track, Merrijig. 15 minutes from Mansfield and 10 minutes from the Mt Buller - Merrimbah gate. 30 minutes to the chairlift!
Whether you're looking to head to the snowslopes at Mt Buller or Mt Stirling, go mountain biking, horse riding, hiking or looking to hook a rainbow trout in the Delatite River, this beautifully appointed alpine ski-lodge style log cabin will offer you high country adventure in style and comfort.
Lodge Setup:-
Sleeping for up to 10 people (6 adults, 4 children):
Bedroom 1: 1 xQueen
Bedroom 2: 1 x Queen
Bedroom 3: 1 x Queen
Bedroom 4: 2 x bunks (sleeps 4)
Note: All bed linen and towels are provided.
There are 2 bathrooms with a hair dryer provided and the laundry has a washing machine and dryer.
There is a central wood fire heater, split system heater/ac and heaters and electric blankets in the bedrooms for chilly nights.
The kitchen is fully equipped with microwave, oven, stove, Nespresso machine (& pods), large fridge & dishwasher. Large BBQ (with extra gas bottle) located on the outside deck..

We stayed for a long weekend in late Aug 2025. Great place, very quiet location, spacious, and a great alternative for families to staying on the mountain if skiing at Mt Buller as it’s a very short drive.

Such a fab place to stay with friends. Super close to Mt Buller as it’s only half an hour up the mountain. Lots of room to relax after a long day of skiing. Kitchen is really well equipped and a large oven to help feed everyone.

This was our second stay and once again, it didn’t disappoint! The house is absolutely perfect for our whole family - clean, comfortable, warm, and just perfect in every way. It has everything you could possibly need for a relaxing stay. The host was fantastic and so easy to communicate with, which made the whole process stress-free.It’s a great base if you’re heading to Mt Buller, but it’s also ideal for a peaceful country getaway if you just want to unwind and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. We would happily recommend this accommodation to anyone looking for a wonderful place to stay. We’ll definitely be back again!

We stayed here with four adults and 6 children so that we could go to Mt Buller. It was absolutely perfect for our group. Everything we could want was catered for and best of all the house was so warm after a cold day on the mountain. Couldn’t recommend more highly!
