Windsors Edge Residence & Homestead is located on 125 acres in the heart of the Hunter wine region, with magnificent views over vineyards to the stunning Brokenback Range.
The Estate consists of 'The Residence', with 5 bedrooms, a refreshing swimming pool, plus a full size tennis court. Just a few minutes walk away is 'The Homestead', a large 4 bedroomed property. The Estate also has a cellar door and you can stroll to the fantastic Amandas on the Edge restaurant. Both of these properties are nestled in their own quiet secluded spot overlooking Rothbury Creek.
The property will sleep up to 29 guests between the Residence & Homestead and if you require accommodation for a larger number then there are also 2 two-bedroomed cottages available.
Windsors Edge Residence is a large 5 bedroom 2 bathroom home situated at the front of the Estate, with a beautiful swimming pool and outdoor area to enjoy with company. It has a large kitchen and a huge dining room with space to seat 20, plus a lovely music room with open fire.
Windsors Edge Homestead is a 4 bedroom 2.5 bathroom homestead located approximately 300 metres from the Residence, next to the best Shiraz vines, with lovely views and with total privacy assured. The Homestead has a huge en-suite with spa within the master bedroom and spacious kitchen, dining and living areas.
Without leaving the Estate you can relax on your private verandah with a glass of wine and enjoy the views, have a refreshing swim and a game of tennis on the synthetic grass court. Finish your day with a tasting of some award winning wines at the cellar door, or perhaps dinner at Amanda's on the Edge...all in walking distance from your accommodation.

SECURITY DEPOSIT
A security deposit/bond of $1500.00 is required for your stay and is payable as a credit card pre-authorisation. This will be processed approximately 24 - 48 hours before your arrival, so please ensure the funds are available at this time.

We came up as a group of 25 adults and had a wonderful time! The house had multiple social areas so we could have several different activities going on at the same time, but was also big enough for us all to eat together. The pool was great too, overall a fantastic stay!

Great location and the houses themselves were a good size for our group, with clean beds and fresh towels provided, beautiful outlook. It was comfortable enough for our stay in terms of space.We appreciated the early check in and late check out and had a great time using the space. Great communication from Hunter Valley Stays through the Stayz app.However, the overall cleanliness could definitely be improved, especially for what you pay. There was quite a bit of dust and cobwebs around, and some maintenance issues like broken cupboard doors, broken or missing lights and damaged fly screens, in both the Residence and Homestead, that detracted from the experience.The biggest downside was the strong septic smell outside. At times it was quite overpowering and made it unpleasant to sit outdoors and be in the pool. While I understand that septic systems can occasionally smell, this setup seemed to direct it close to the house, which wasn’t ideal. The run off needs a subsurface drain field, trench, or soakaway, not a sprinkler on top of the ground.Overall, a convenient spot with decent space, but it would really benefit from better cleaning and some maintenance fixes.
