The house was clean and typical for a beach rental. It was close to the beach. A few changes would have made our stay more comfortable. For one, putting shades in the kitchen and dining room would have made it less hot during the day. The AC window unit in the living room was not enough to cool the kitchen. Also, there was no privacy. People walking by could look right into the house. The other issue was the water pressure in the downstairs bathroom was low. At one point, we had to brush our teeth in the tub because there was only a drip coming from the sink. Finally, there were damprid containers on the floor that we were not aware of and my grandson found one behind the couch. Fortunately, he was not injured, but these items should be out of reach if you rent to people with toddlers.

This is a beautiful home in a great location. HOWEVER, two days before we checked in we were told there is a “beach cottage” in the backyard that would also be occupied. So our private backyard was actually a shared space that was not mentioned in any of the information about the house. All week we had people walking through what we believed was our space, right past the windows which have no shades or blinds. We did receive a small refund for our inconvenience, but it honestly felt like the information was intentionally left off the listing. I don’t know if we would rebook.

My family and I enjoyed our recent stay at a spacious home located in Wildwood Crest. We especially enjoyed the large and well equipped kitchen. It was easy to prepare family meals and the convenience of a dishwasher made cleaning up a snap! Having two floors and two bathrooms provided privacy and plenty of space for our party of seven. It was an easy walk to the beach and the neighborhood felt safe. The owner was easy to contact and responded quickly to my messages. We are looking forward to a return trip in the future!
