About this cabin rental
We have three quaint and cozy cabins that each comfortably sleep four. They will be available May 1 - October 1 every year.
Each cabin has been renovated inside and out with new, knotty pine bathrooms and updated appliances.
The newly installed heaters will readily take the chill off cool mornings as you awake to the soft rustling of leaves, waves lapping the shoreline and the call of loons. Big Saint Germain Lake is one of the premier fishing lakes in northern Wisconsin. You can find lake details on the Wisconsin DNR website.
Although we do not have a private boat launch the public boat launch is just 1/5 mile to the west of us.

Cabin was exactly as pictured.Liked the cozy retro look especially the metal cabinets, sink and table & chairs..Had all the basics without the frilly nick knacks sitting around. We stayed for a week and storage in kitchen was limited because of small counter space. Stored a lot of things above fridge. Location is very good, 6 miles to Sayner and St. Germain.No WIFI but was able to rent a Hot Spot from the very friendly staff at Plum Lake library in Sayner. Would definitely rent from Larry again. Could use more

With there only being three cabins, it's very nice and quiet staying here. The owner has a quiet time of after 10 pm. to also help. Overall a very nice place.

Our cabin was very clean and cozy! The pier and small beach area made it very easy for us to launch our kayaks and explore the lake. The host was very helpful and approachable! We would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend.

Larry was great! He was there to greet us and show us around the cabin. Pictures depic the interior well. New bathroom and most walls were redone the old log cabin way. Very pretty and cozy. New appliances too! Plenty of towels, wash cloths, paper towels, toilet paper and Larry said to holler if we needed anything! Lots of well screened windows for the lake breezes coming through. Nice 🔥� pit area with plenty of seating. New pier and sandy bottom for little kids. Shallow water, so no jumping off the pier. We don’t fish 🐠� so can’t comment on that but lots of fishing boats were on the lake. Lake looks clean and clear! Plenty of great trails around that we took advantage of, even the road the cabin is on, was great for walking. Lots of choices when it comes to restaurants! Rental places for bikes, ATV’s, etc are close by too. The cabin is small, so large families might take a pass. Just an FYI, The furniture in the living room holds three people, then floor sitting. Same in the porch - a writing desk and a small couch for two. The furniture is clean, but meant for small spaces. My recommendations are a new coffee pot, pumps on the doors so they don’t slam shut, and although the pillows & bedding were clean, they definitely need an upgrade.
