Easy parking and free. Room was large and efficient. Breakfast was adequate with a good range of choices.
Bathroom was tiny and shower pressure poor. It's obviously a very golf place so be prepared to feel a little out of place if you're not there for golf, for example in the breakfast room!

Lovely hotel. Friendly helpful staff. Food good.
Small suggestion. Put mirror above desk/dressing table and not on side wall as in room 18. Very difficult to dry hair with it there.

The breakfast was excellent, as it always is, even though this time it was self-service because of the Valentine's Day party the night before.

Staff were pleasant
We chose a disabled access room as my wife had just come out of hospital and was unable to walk far without assistance. The room we were given was indeed as advertised 'disabled access friendly', but was a considerable walk through 4 doors, including one with a code operated lock. The room was large, but the dreadfully thin cord carpet did nothing to make it feel comfortable. It was so rough it was actually extremely unpleasant to walk on barefoot, something I have never encountered in the hundreds, if not thousand of hotels I have stayed in over 50 years! The quality of carpet probably had some effect on the noise transmitted through the ceiling from other guests, which sounded like a herd of baby elephants and actually rattled the ceiling light fittings.
The beds were on wooden bases , with the corners so sharp that it is easy to catch one's leg on, which happened to us!
The bathroom has the usual disabled fittings, however the sink was a tiny vanity sink that was useless for its main purpose.
Also for the price of the stay I would have expected tissues to be supplied and perhaps more than a single tiny Biscotti biscuit each!
