Quiet, friendly & comfortable.

In a quiet part of town, 5 minute walk from the Beach. The hotel was modern and there was plenty of spaces for parking. The twin room was larger than expected, on the ground floor, very clean, and was all we needed for a one night stay. Breakfast and evening meals were available in the Brasserie with views over the golf course.

Disappointing

Staff were pleasant

We chose a disabled access room as my wife had just come out of hospital and was unable to walk far without assistance. The room we were given was indeed as advertised 'disabled access friendly', but was a considerable walk through 4 doors, including one with a code operated lock. The room was large, but the dreadfully thin cord carpet did nothing to make it feel comfortable. It was so rough it was actually extremely unpleasant to walk on barefoot, something I have never encountered in the hundreds, if not thousand of hotels I have stayed in over 50 years! The quality of carpet probably had some effect on the noise transmitted through the ceiling from other guests, which sounded like a herd of baby elephants and actually rattled the ceiling light fittings. The beds were on wooden bases , with the corners so sharp that it is easy to catch one's leg on, which happened to us! The bathroom has the usual disabled fittings, however the sink was a tiny vanity sink that was useless for its main purpose. Also for the price of the stay I would have expected tissues to be supplied and perhaps more than a single tiny Biscotti biscuit each!

Spacious clean bathroom and room with spacious work station facilitating setting up my laptops for work. The staff was very helpful as i arrived a bit earlier for check in than planned.

I woke up with neck pain which might possibly be due to my sleeping position but i am tempted to say its more of the pillow.

Location is excellent, down a quiet street a few hundred yards from beach. 10 minute walk to harbour along sea front. Room was very spacious and we were provided with everything we needed (good sized towels , tea/coffee facilities, soaps and shower gels ).

Very enjoyable short stay for business.

Great location with a fantastic restaurant and bar attached. Very friendly and helpful staff. Within close walking distance to the town center of the town, if needed. Attached to an established and highly rated golf course.
