About this cabin rental

** Your Maine Summer Starts at Our Family Camp **
Welcome to our little slice of Maine! Our rustic, family-owned camp on quiet Harford’s Point is a place to slow down, enjoy the outdoors, and make memories at beautiful Moosehead Lake. We love sharing this special spot with guests, and we hope you’ll feel at home here, too.

Whether you’re planning a family vacation, a getaway with friends, or a relaxing retreat for two, our camp offers a comfortable home base for exploring the Moosehead Lake region—with plenty of reasons to enjoy a quiet day right here.

** The Simple Pleasures of a Classic Camp **
Our camp is intentionally "Wi-Fi-free", making it a great opportunity to unplug and reconnect. Cell phone service is generally reliable for most carriers, and the public library in Greenville offers internet access if you need it.

You’ll also find a flat-screen TV with DVDs, board games, cards, and books for relaxed evenings indoors. The setting is peaceful and rustic, with the comforts you need for a memorable camp experience.

We welcome guests traveling with dogs, too, so your four-legged family member can join the getaway.

** Relax, Unwind & Enjoy Camp Life **
Start your morning with coffee on the private deck, settled into an Adirondack chair as you listen to the birds and watch for deer, chipmunks, and hummingbirds. After a day of exploring, fire up the gas grill for dinner, then gather around the fire pit for s’mores, stories, and a star-filled Maine evening.

Inside, the open living area and separate sunroom give everyone room to relax. Curl up with a good book, enjoy a family movie from our DVD collection, or bring out the board games and cards. On cooler evenings, the wood stove adds to the classic camp atmosphere. Electric heaters are also available.

Our well-stocked kitchen has what you need to prepare meals and enjoy the comforts of home. We provide firewood for both the fire pit and wood stove, so you can spend less time preparing and more time enjoying your stay.

** A Short Walk to Moosehead Lake **
One of the best things about our location is how close you are to the lake. Lake access is approximately 100 yards from the camp, with a trailhead across the road leading to a quiet dock—a lovely spot for morning coffee, peaceful lake views, or stargazing

There’s also a second lake access with a grassy beach, a nice option for families with children or those desiring a quiet afternoon by the water.

** Explore the Moosehead Lake Region **
Outdoor adventure is never far away. Nearby and within a short drive, you’ll find hiking trails for a range of abilities, fishing and boating opportunities, golf, and scenic places to explore. The roads around Harford’s Point are also enjoyable for walking, jogging, and biking.

When you’re ready to venture into town, Greenville offers restaurants, grocery stores, outdoor outfitters, gift shops, museums, and other local attractions. You can rent kayaks, canoes, and bikes, book a moose safari or scenic flight, or take a cruise on the historic Katahdin (a.k.a. Kate) on Moosehead Lake.

Or do nothing ambitious at all. Some of the best vacation moments happen when you slow down, breathe in the fresh Maine air, and enjoy being together.

A beautiful cozy cabin that was located perfectly between two water access points. An added bonus of the wood for the inside wood stove and outside firepit was included and the property managers were extremely responsive bringing a new propane tank when it was empty on arrival. The cabin stayed cool, the beds were comfortable, and the sounds of the birds were incredible! Also- pet friendly! Loved everything about the place! Would highly recommend for a family trip, solo trip, friends trip- anything. A short drive to Greeneville Junction, and about 20 minutes to Kineo. 5 stars

Bill and Marion communicated our stay very well! Our arrival was seamless and we settled in quickly. All pertinent information was on the fridge of the area and the rooms were comfy! Everything was close by and easy access to the lake. There’s a little spot for a campfire in case you need to make some s’mores or hang with family as it nears dark. We enjoyed the patio before knocking off to bed. Kitchen has whatever you need to cook or bake cookies :)Oh you may see a deer come up to the camp. Made our night Thank you Bill and Marion!

This was described as a “Cozy Cabin” and the description is true. The cabin was warm and inviting. It has everything you need and more. The kitchen has everything you could need …. appliances, glassware and utensils. The bed was very comfortable. The living area is stocked with board games, cards and a DVD player with a varied selection of movies. The shower door was a little tricky, but it came with instructions. I didn’t use the wood stove, the fire pit or the barbecue, but it was good to have the options. In short, the cabin is “fully loaded”. The location in amazing and I was lucky enough to see it at it’s autumn best. The lake is close by, accessible and beautiful. The view is also incredible at night, no light pollution to interfere with the night sky. The town and various other opportunities for fun are close by … a moose safari, boat rides, plane rides snd more. There is a lot to in any season in the area.I only had a few questions while I was there and the responses to my texts were quick.I hope to get back here again soon.
