This beautiful and spacious 3,000 sq. ft home is only 20 minutes from Wolf Creek Ski Area and minutes from South Fork. The master bedroom is located down stairs with a king bed and full size bathroom. The master bedroom also includes a sitting room with an additional twin bed. Upstairs offers: 2 bedrooms each with a queen bed, twin bed and full size bathroom. All 3 bedrooms have flat screen televisions. Additional living space upstairs offers a queen and 2 twin beds; Two additional twin mattresses have been placed in the upstairs bedroom cubbies sleeping a total of 15 on mattresses. All towels and linens are furnished. Laundry room with washer and dryer. Fully equipped kitchen. Dining room offers seating for 10 with additional seating at the kitchen island. This is an amazing property with plenty of room for the 14 of us, six adults and 8 kids age 3-10. The fire pit right next to the river was a big hit with the kids. The only ding I have is it didn’t seem to be dusted in a while, but that didn’t bother the men and kids, we had a blast.

Very spacious house to easily fit and accommodate (4 bathrooms) group of up to 15 people. And with huge garage! Plenty of additional parking space on driveway! Large deck to enjoy, with hot tub and grill by the river. Close to ski resort Wolf creek.

We enjoyed our time at the house and in the area, but the house would be so much nicer with a deep cleaning (cabinets, baseboards, walls, carpet, etc.) and some maintenance or updates to furniture/bedding. The black mold in an upstairs cubby/closet is the most concerning. The hot tub, the location, and the amount of space were great, but unfortunately we would not stay again because of the lack of cleanliness and maintenance.

House was amazing! The whole family enjoyed our stay here for Spring Break. Hot tub was much appreciated, kids loved the smores by the river, and grandma loved the warm fireplace. great host and was always available to answer any questions we had. We will definitely be coming back again for another ski season and possibly during the summer for some fishing.

We found mold upstairs where there had been an obvious water leak. The property manager admitted this was a known issue. Had we known about this we would have made other arrangements since we have asthmatic kids. Although the house is nice, it is not being kept up with properly. We were very disappointed with our stay.

Our extended family (mom, dad, 2 daughters and their familes) rented this home for our christmas vacation. This home was perfect and exactly what we were looking for. The hot tub was great.. a little cold getting out but thats the weather. We got snow from Christmas and as a family from Texas, thats all we wanted! The host even had a Christmas tree up for us! A couple issues that werent big deals: we could never get the house to a perfect even temperature. It was either too hot or too cold, but we rolled with it. Another issue is the top heavy dining room chairs. I went to sit down in one and I toppled right over, leaving a pretty big bruise on my arm from when I fell. I'm actually pretty lucky I didnt fall through the window, because I was close to them. Again, not a big deal, but heads up that the chairs are top heavy.

The lodge was great and met all our needs. However, the ad of yours does not tell you that a major highway was just a 150-200 feet away from the back of the lodge. Major traffic was constant and took away from the experience and kept us up at night. It was hard to enjoy the outside deck with all that traffic roaring by...especially the truck traffic.

Second time staying at this house and skiing Wolf Creek. Great location to the small town of South Fork. Easy checkin and out. No real issues with the property and easily fit 12 adults / older teens and 1 baby. Great hot tub after the slopes and fire pit down by the river. Great views from house as well. Use Rocky Mountain Ski for your gear they’re great. Will be back again and hopefully not take 6 years like the last time.

We had a wonderful time. Only concerns were is that we felt with the size of the home and number of people, there needed to be more towels. Also the deck was covered with ice & snow and we had several slip and fall going to the hot tub. It is a beautiful home, kids loved the cubbies, plenty of room, and glad your tv's had all the bowl games (ha!). Memories made!

The property and location were perfect for our family vacation. This was the first time for most to stay in South Fork. Our days were filled with fishing, taking in the beauty of the mountains and lakes. Some even took a fishing break to play golf. We did have a minor hiccup when the water had to be shut off for approximately 48 hours, our host JoyceAnn took great care of us when this happened. I highly recommend this home and the beautiful area that South Fork is.

The host and house were great. Lots of amenities and everything you need for a great stay. House has lots of space to relax in. Kitchen is perfect for several cooks. Backyard is really nice. South fork is very laid back. This is the easiest drive to Wolf Creek and there are several outfitters for renting or servicing equipment. Rainbow grocery has a little of everything just a few blocks from the house. Again, great host and great house.

The hot tub did not work. Nor had it worked for days. We found out by a note on the counter when we arrived despite hot tub listed in amenities. Mold in closets. Trash left on the floor upstairs. We were not able to check in at 4 because property was still being cleaned. Property manager was responsive but I wouldn’t recommend a property where you pay full price for non working amenities.

Love the location and how spacious the home is. Unfortunately the home was not clean. Towels smelled musty, bathrooms were noticeably dirty, there was a very low stock of toilet paper as well. We had to clean the showers before use, and we were also not notified of the hot tub being unavailable for use until our 2nd day of stay, we had to call and ask before they had even let us know. Other than those issues, the cabin itself was beautiful.

The home itself is lovely and indeed can sleep 15 people, 4 of which are mattresses on the floor inside 4 different attic type accessible doors that an adult cannot easily maneuver and have nothing in them but a mattress on the floor and a light bulb We had concerns as soon as we walked in because the house was not clean and has not been well cleaned in apparently a very long time. The sheets on the beds were clean but the blankets and comforters were not. The bathroom and kitchen counters were wiped and the toilets appeared clean. There were three very large trash cans in the garage that were completely full to the top and we were instructed by paperwork left in the home that we were to take those to the end of the driveway on a certain day. I contacted the property manager the 2nd day to discuss some of the things i noticed. She did respond relatively quickly with an apology that things weren't done to their normal standards. I discussed several things with her and as the week went on more things were discovered. The "normal" standard of care for this home is way below expectations. This includes: moldy shower curtain pieces of cookie and bread crumbs under the couch dirty Q-tips on the floor marijuana and snuff containers in the upstairs bedroom drawers (discovered by the children) dirty bathroom fixtures, tables and mirrors beer bottles by the hot tub visible dust on the furniture surfaces dirty, greasy, outdoor grill pools of burned grease on the bottom of the oven personal items left in the downstairs bathroom drawers greasy feeling inside the kitchen cabinets dirty carpeting throughout but especially downstairs dirty refrigerator, especially the freezer two microwaves, one doesn't work If this house were cleaned it would be perfect. The setting is beautiful, the deck is wonderful with a lovely view and the house itself has alot to offer. There's everything you need in the kitchen and the beds were comfortable. It just needs some love.

We loved staying here! Plenty of room for our two families (4 adults, 7 teens) The younger kids loved the cubby rooms. The kitchen and dining was plenty big for us to cook and gather, the hot tub was huge, and while it was only 101 we still jumped in every chance we got. Only 20 minutes to Wolf creek where we skied. Huge garage for cars. But the view out behind the house was the most amazing part. Snowy banks beside a river and tall rock formations, so pretty. And there is really yummy brick oven pizza in South fork just down the road! We enjoyed our stay!

Overall nice property. Beds comfortable and twin beds were sleepable. A few mechanical issues sent to house manager to address but she was easy to reach and responsive to issues. Kitchen was well stocked and kids loved the games. Hot tub was perfect. Nice fireplace kept the house comfortable. It could use a spring cleaning and more attention to cleaning overall. Wish we didnt have to leave a day early because of the snow storm!

We stayed here with 8 adults and had more than enough room for family activities, games, indoor and outdoor cooking/dining, and sleeping arrangements with plenty of beds to spare. This house has the incredible combination of open floor design and cozy comfort. The automatic gas fireplace, hot tub, fire pit on the river, and the neighborhood herd of whitetail deer were some of our favorite attributes. The location is great as well. We soaked in the natural hot springs at Pagosa Springs, skied and rode snowmobiles at Wolf Creek, shopped in Creede, and really enjoyed the pizza brewery and local shops in South Fork. The hosts were also highly professional, kind, and responsive. We would certainly stay here again in any season. We miss it already!

It’s on the River and only 15-20 min from wolf creek ski area. The property manager not so good! Joyce Ann I sent her a message on the side of the hot broken and she responded really fast. Then we got in the Hot Tub and none of the jets worked at all! Very disappointing after snowboarding!so I sent her a text and a message on VRBO and I still have not got a response from her and it was sent 5 days ago. We rented this place because it had a hot tub and did not get to use! We could not find any towels but we finally did, they were in the dryer. No pillow cases on most of the pillows. This is the second time we rented this cabin and it is our last!

We enjoyed our stay. There was plenty of room for everyone. We enjoyed seeing deer in the neighborhood. Cons: Wet towels were left in the dryer Gas tank on grill was out of gas. We had to go buy one. The trash containers in the garage were full, however the property manager did come by to get it after we messaged the owners. There were cob-webs in several corners Be aware that a couple of the “beds” are in these “cubby holes “ in the wall. One suggestion would be to have some check-out directions so renters know what is required when they leave. We truly did enjoy our stay and made some great memories. Thank you!!

It was somewhat disappointing when we walked in and realize we had to wipe all the counters down and the garbage was stinking horribly. I would recommend to the owners to not let your guest walk in to your house with it stinking like a dead animal. Once we got past that we had a great time with family. The hot tub was very popular every evening after a long day of riding atv’s. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking equipment but not all the tv’s worked in the bedrooms. I thought the showers were very small for the size of house it is. Over all it was a good experience. Mountain time is always a good time!

The pictures on the website were not correct there is a highway right behind the river and they give you a false sense that you were away from traffic you could hear traffic day and night. The house was nice but not very clean there were webs everywhere and there was dirt everywhere big spots on the carpet there was a birds nest on the deck that had bird droppings all over the deck we had to wash it off with a hose. If I were the owners of this house I would do a thorough cleaning and dusting The beds were very comfortable. The fireplace did not work, one of the microwaves did not work, and the gas barbecue grill was filthy

We stayed here in July and in September. We love this home! It is very spacious! The deck has a big round table that we played cards on. The hotub overlooks the river and is amazing! You can fish the river which is awesome for us! We also could drive our atv's right from the property. The property manager JoyceAnn is a very sweet woman. We'll be back.
