Beautiful Private Home in Puerto Vallarta. Newly Renovated Chefs Kitchen.

Casa Caracol is an amazing, unique experience. This was our second time staying at Jonathan's home, which it's very hard to explain how charming and traditional it is. You're literally a three minute walk to Casa Kimberly and the magic that has to offer. The rooftop palapa and dipping pool are a highlight of this charming Mexican home. You'll hear the real experience of living in Puerto Vallarta, not some ultra-modern beach-front condo that masks all the authenticity of a Mexican neightborhood (yep, you'll hear some roosters and some dogs, and one funny meowy cat), You are literally steps away from some of the most celebrated restaurants in PV. Isla Cuale is 2 minutes away, down an incredibly amazing stairway/bridge. You can be in Zona Romantica in 4 minutes, walking. We stayed 2 weeks, and never once took a taxi anywhere. Victor, Jonathan's property manager, is one of the nicest guys you'll meet, and incredibly responsive. Chelly, who is normally there just to clean and water the abundance of plants, is just a beautiful person. Getting up every morning, making cafe de olla, and watching the sun rise on the roof top is a highlight of every day. Dipping pool, shower and bathroom on the rooftop beats any hotel or resort you can imagine. And we've been staying in PV for 30 years. Thinking of the Marina, Garza Blanca, Molina de Agua... give this place a shot and you'll have no questions as to why these houses up in Gringo Gulch are so sought after. Muchas gracias!

We stayed here 6-21 April. This property is fantastic! Close to town/Malecon area in a quiet neighborhood, no need for a taxi, safe, well light road heading backup the hill. We are planning to stay again next year. A true hidden Gem.

This is a great house in a nice neighborhood. It's a close walk to everything we needed and a nice place to just stay home. The well-equipped kitchen puts it leagues above other places we've stayed in Puerto Vallarta. Victor and Shelly took good care of the place.

Such a beautiful home, from the architectural details to the furnishings, ceramics, textiles, lighting fixtures, hundreds of plants, and the views! The house has three levels, on the bottom floor, the guest studio, with its own kitchen, bathroom and seating area; on the second (main) floor, the kitchen and large living area with a master bedroom and private bathroom; and on the roof level, a cooling pool, a large seating area under the palapa, and also an open area with lounge chairs to catch the sun. The location is an easy walk to many restaurants, bars, galleries, buses, the Malecon and the beach, and to local food markets, including the Isla Cuale farmer’s market on Saturday morning. The location is relatively quiet, compared to some places we have stayed in Mexico, though Puerto Vallarta is a vibrant city, so you can expect some noise.When we signed up for our two-week stay, we weren’t sure how we’d feel about having a maid come in for several hours a day six days a week. When we arrived we discovered that the house also has a gardener who comes in for several hours twice a week. Since our plan in renting the place was to hang out there together during the day, we requested that the maid come only two or three times a week, on the same days as the gardener. This was not a problem to arrange, and worked better for us. It was a huge luxury to have the maid service; she made the place sparkle.We loved Jonathan's place. Five stars all around!
