You won’t find another vacation rental like this one in Harbor Country—or anywhere else for that matter. This luxury cabin, a stone's throw from the shore of Lake Michigan, is a design-lover’s dream home, with every detail carefully selected to contribute to its polished-yet-rustic aesthetic. Incredible property for larger groups. Three bedroom main house, plus three bedroom guest house, connected by a wonderful, oversized deck with multiple seating areas and spa.

Tucked away in a private, serene wooded setting, yet moments from the lakefront, this custom home boasts 3,000 square feet between the main (2000 SF) and guest (1000 SF) homes —including six bedrooms, four bathrooms, and one very large, open common area with soaring ceilings and incredible wall of windows, bountiful seating space, and a two-story wood burning stone fireplace. Chat with the cook at the counter-height bar as they prepare dinner in our gourmet kitchen (complete with a professional grade Italian range, separate second oven, and concrete countertops), then gather around the spacious dining table to enjoy it together.

After dinner, grab a bottle of wine and choose from several outdoor areas, including a second floor terrace, multiple porches—including a spacious screened-in porch adjoining the living room—or the sprawling back deck with gas grill, oversized hot tub and outdoor shower. Summer evenings are especially tranquil; the waves crashing on the beach are often background music! And, in the chillier months, the hot tub and a fire pit keep you toasty.

Sleeping options are plentiful: two king bedrooms in the main house--including a luxury master on top floor with spacious bath and antique tub, as well as an adjoining (albeit very small) nursery/child room w/ toddler bed! There is another bedroom with two full beds. In the guest house, there is a large king bedded room upstairs, one room with a queen bed on the main level, as well as a bunk-bed room with two full-sized beds that's perfect for kids (and adults who want to relive summer camp). All bedrooms (aside from bunk room) include flat-screen TVs. The double laundry is equipped with 2 full sized washers and dryers.

Access to the beach is ideal—Harbert Road beach access point just just a two minute walk down from the driveway. There is also a path to Cherry Beach if you’d rather, which is about a 5 minute walk.

The charming Harbor Country area (which encompasses Harbert as well as nearby Sawyer and Lakeside/Union Pier/New Buffalo/Three Oaks) has plenty of restaurant options for a special evening out. You’ll also find an assortment of antique and specialty shops within a few miles of the home.
