In the Heart of SLO Wine Country and only 15 Minutes to the Beach. This property is a 5 acre estate. The house is expansive and is divided into two suites. There is a master suite with king size bed. The master suite has spa access just outside the bedroom door. The master suite has its own laundry, full kitchen with oven, open dining room, large living room with wood burning fireplace. Outside of the living room is a patio area with a fire pit, and gated swimming pool complete with diving board. The guest suite has two bedrooms, one large bathroom, a living room, and kitchenette. The first bedroom has a king size bed. The second bedroom has a queen size bed and a twin bed. The living room has flat screen Satelite TV and futon sofa bed. The kitchenette has a sink, refrigerator, microwave oven, coffee maker and induction plate. Both suites have access to a fenced yard and patio with outdoor pool, barbeque and fire pit.

This was a beautiful, large house with pool and hot tube. It was clean and "high end". We loved it. We're not wine drinkers but the area had plenty to do. We went whale watching, deep sea fishing (in nearby Morro Bay), and golfed at the Hunter Ranch GC. A very good week with family.

We had an excellent stay- the house and property are spectacular. The large rooms/ living room provided us with areas for playing games and having dinner together while at the property. The house is stocked with linens, towels and kitchen supplies, truly don’t need to bring in a lot of stuff like you do at other places. We wish we were there during summer months to enjoy the pool area more, but utilized it for cold plunges and loved it. Would highly recommend this property to anyone! Tina was very communicative and flexible with us. Thank you for such an enjoyable trip!

My wife and I stayed for a month and had a fantastic time. We had planned for 6 guests but other priorities prevailed. The home is comfortable and well-appointed but the real plus is the outside space. The patio and the pool area were exceptional. We are not from California and very much enjoyed seeing all the different plants on the property including the redwoods! The location is convenient to all that Atascadero offers and it was less than 30 minutes to the beach or an interesting vineyard. Tina is a responsive host and whatever we ran into we were able to resolve quickly.

We had a great time. The layout of the house was perfect both for hanging out as a group, or getting some solo space. The kitchen had everything we needed and more. We spent most of our time poolside, playing games, reading, listening to music, bbqing. Loved it.

We enjoyed our family vacation at The Ranch. It’s definitely a 10 out of 10. Extremely well stocked with anything you might need. Plenty of room for everyone inside and outside. The outside has plenty of furniture and sitting areas. The pool was a hit as it was hot. The host was readily available to answer any questions. Would definitely rent this place again.

A beautiful location that was close to amenities. Easy access from the freeway. The house is on a great property. The pool is amazing. Plenty of room for our family (6 Adults, 3 kids, 2 dogs ) and even more if needed. Pet friendly. We will definitely consider renting again in the future.

You will love The Ranch! It is so much nicer than the pictures. The kitchen has everything you need, the master bedroom is wonderful, plenty of room for a group or family vacation, the two living spaces are perfect for individual needs, and the pool is terrific. There are pool floaties and plenty of seating. Our family had so much fun.

My family and I wanted a get away that would allow us to spend quality time together, cooking, playing games, going on hikes, wine tasting and various excursions without the responsibilities of being at our own homes. This was perfect! There was enough space for the six adults to have both together time and alone time. Beautiful property and dog friendly! We would stay there again! Happy New Year!

Great location, easy access, very nice covered carport parking, lots of hang out areas indoor and out, comfy beds, beautiful view, close enough to grocery store but far enough out of town, pool area great with kids, fenced in area for a dog, spacious house with separated areas for friends or family, good size kitchen for everyone to gather and help out. Plenty of linens, towels and kitchen stuff. Great outdoor lighting. We mostly just hung out, played games, brought in meals to keep things easy, took naps, read, lived outback by the pool even when a bit overcast,, hiked up to the green tower daily for a view, watched some Dish TV cartoons with the kids and felt totally relaxed!! Our group of 4 adults and 2 children had a fantastic, relaxing time. The house is spacious and there is plenty of room for everyone to spread out, so everyone gets the downtime they want. We enjoyed the pool, the hot tub and having a lovely spot to eat outdoors and have a fire at night. It really is a lovely spot, secluded but not too far away. Highly recommended!

Overall, this was a positive experience but a few items prevent me from rating this a 5-star experience. Positives: layout of the home is perfect for giving large groups plenty of space. Beautiful setting in the country but with easy access to groceries, the beach, Paso Robles, etc. Appreciated the host's willingness to allow for a second pet. Fully stocked kitchen. Beds are incredibly comfortable. Negatives: host seems to nickel and dime you as requests are made. House needs to be updated, small maintenance items need to be addressed, and the house needs to be cleaned more thoroughly between guests. It is unacceptable to find as many cobwebs in and outside the home as we did. Charging for "day guests" is a ridiculous policy. Making guests feel guilty for turning on the air after walking into an incredibly warm house that should have been made more comfortable for guest arrival. Not divulging the property is on a well and that we would need to purchase bottled waters for our stay until just before we arrived.

Perfect home for our group of 7, in town for a wedding in Paso Robles. The home was spacious, with four nice sized bedrooms and three bathrooms. The pool area is spacious and lovely. Hummingbirds, dragonflies, doves and lizards abound! The home is roomy and private… and just 15 minutes from Paso Robles. Beautiful sunset views! The hosts were communicative and helpful. Would definitely recommend!

We had Thanksgiving here and it could not have been better. Lots of room and comfy beds for all. Super well stocked kitchen. We loved the patio and pool area. A beautiful space with plenty of outdoor furniture. We had a fire in the fire pit one night and enjoyed lisitting the whole family around it. Our dog loved the hike up the hill in the mornings and we all enjoyed the stars in the countryside at night. We all agreed we will have to come back!

The property is very nice, lined with trees with a beautiful pool setting. The front area- kitchen, dining & living room- is nice, functional, and comfortable. I’m sorry for the following complaints- I don’t like leaving negative comments. My issues were: 1. The listing says sleeps 10 w/ a price per night but over 6 people you’re charged extra per person- that seemed deceiving. 2. One of the bedrooms houses the washer & dryer- okay for our grandsons, but not acceptable for adults. 3. One of the queen beds is very soft- my adult son couldn’t sleep in it. 4. We booked and paid in full at the beginning of February. Five days before we were to enter the house I received a lease to sign and request for a copy of my license. We were already on vacation & as far as I was concerned, our business was complete, I had agreed to terms, had paid in full. 5) There are other rules & misc. charges for infractions - such as if you leave more than 2 loads of laundry you are charged per load. I paid a decent cleaning fee - $350.00- and was expected not only to start laundry, but do it, fold and put it away. Tina did call me a couple times to communicate her position- I appreciated her calls. She did say parts of the lease/rules were out of date….time to revise it/ them.

The Ranch generally met our high expectations. The large house was extremely well equipped and provisioned and was well located for our needs. The property owners were easy to communicate with. They provided us extremely useful local information and house operating information. We had an enjoyable family reunion. The lovely property was a great fit for our family. Each family had their own wing and we shared the communal spaces. The kids really enjoyed the pool. We found most of the house in good working order. However, some small operating issues lowered our overall rating from a 5 to a 4. Only 2 of the kitchen stove's 5 gas burners ignited properly. The toaster was only partially functional.

I echo what other people said, in that the photos do not do the property justice. It is a HUGE property so there's a lot of privacy, and a tons of space to walk around. The master bedroom was beautiful, and the view while in the pool and jacuzzi was incredible. The kitchen is actually stocked very well. There were no toiletries besides handsoap so make sure to pack everything for yourself. The only caveats are that the air conditioner also isn't very strong and at times it felt like it wasn't on at all, so that may impact folks who run pretty hot. The fridge was also pretty weak so it was difficult to get things cold and to keep things frozen, so keep that in mind when deciding what perishables to bring. Overall, it was an incredible stay and we've bookmarked it so that we can return.

This property is beautiful inside and outside. The home, the yard, the pool, and the hot tub gives people of all ages plenty of space to play and relax. The views are spectacular! The house is large and very well stocked with everything a family could want for either cooking and/or eating together, (inside or outside), playing games together, or even getting some individual space to read and relax alone. The beds, linens and pillows are very comfortable and snuggly. The pool and it’s environment is SO nice that it is hard to pull yourself (or your kids!) away from it. We enjoyed the barbecue AND the fire pit every night we ate at home. The evenings outside are heavenly! Although we loved staying around the house, our adventures in the local environment were also really fun and interesting…., either the beautiful drives to Cambria or Cayucos, or exploring San Luis Obispo with it’s never ending list of places to eat and play, or exploring the other small towns within 10” of the house. We had an incredible, fun and relaxing long weekend at this beautiful home! Thank you so much. My family says that they want to come every year! Barbara Gianelli

Spacious, relaxing and beautiful!

The country setting is so peaceful! The house is very spacious and accommodated our group of eight, ages 15-adult easily. Plenty of space! Pool was perfect to cool off. The temperatures were upper 90-100, but the 30 minute drive to the coast was nice, we went tide pooling, hiking and walking in Morro Bay. The coastal temperatures were 60-70s with breeze and fog coming and going. We used the gas grill every night for dinner. We really enjoyed our stay!!
