Bay Cottage

A charming small old cottage on the bay. Ed has gone above and beyond in his effort to cover every detail of a memorable stay. He is available to visit and his life has provided an endless supply of interesting stories.

Nothing of note.

The host Ed and his son Scott were very kind and welcoming. Ed probably spent 1/2 hour showing us around the property and making sure we were comfortable. The cottage is very charming, plenty big enough for a weekend getaway. Perfect place to go and read a book or two. Very quiet, didn't hear any road traffic at all and slept very well. Bed was comfortable. The floor is a little wonky (uneven) but not a problem, just took a little getting used to. Overall it was a very very nice stay for our anniversary and highly recommend for a get away

Location , location, location. It is right on the beach. The owner, Ed is a very pleasant man and the property is well cared for.

The Rooms are arranged weirdly. You have to walk through the main bedroom to get to the single. There is a decided list to the place. The dining room lists towards the sound and the bedroom to the side of the hill. There are windows that don't open easily and they have no screens. The neighbor to the left of the place is very rude. She started power washing at seven am and then harangued my autistic grandson because he overstepped onto her beach. It really upset him and her threats of calling the sheriff bothered him for the rest of the weekend. She is a bully, plain and simple. I don't know how Ed deals with her.
