Amazing Resort 2 Bedroom near Universal Studios

This property is an incredible VALUE!The location is fantastic for Universal parks and very good for Disney parks. The uber/lyft to get to the park each day was 12 - 20 and less than 15 minutes. The complex in general was very secure (with multiple guard shacks), parking (if you rent a car) was easy.We decided to pick up some breakfast groceries and both ALDI and Walmart were less than 10 minutes away.The pools were well maintained, clean, and warm. The water park (treasure cove) was a little disappointing and closed early at 6pm.The room was clean and was exactly as promised. It was large with plenty of space to spread out and the balcony was a nice bonus feature. All of the appliances (stove, microwave, refrigerator, freezer, dishwasher, washer, dryer, jacuzzi) were functioning properly.The room was the opposite of luxurious. You can clearly tell that this property is a bit older and that there have been many rounds of maintenance and repairs. For most younger families these signs of wear/tear are not relevant.I would definitely consider staying here again, especially if we can get the same great price!

Great place, great time

Stay was smooth process was easy

When we checked in the staff was friendly and took us to our room. We wanted to go to the splash pad only to find out it was an extra charge so we were VERY DISAPPOINTED!! That was the main reason we booked this place. I called the property manager and he was no help, I finally found it after searching for 20 mins in small print. Very disappointed 😞. The kids were sad and that was not the way to start off our Mother’s Day weeekend. We were not at the resort all day Saturday, when we got home at night the parking lot was PACKED and there was no where to park!! We drove around for at least 30 minutes, my husband ended up having to drop us off and continue to drive around. There were several cars also looking for spots. I text and called the front and their reply was there is parking outside your building, which there was not 😞. The next morning was Mother’s Day, I asked for an extra 30 mins- to an hour check out and was told no. So we had to rush out of the room. Unfortunately I do not think we will ever be back. Which really sucks because after the first 5 minutes of walking in I was already ready to see if we could extend our stay and stay an extra night longer. The splash pad was the biggest disappointment of all 😞
