The place was beautiful, the staff was fairly friendly and accommodating. The proximity by foot to one of the lake St. Croix's beaches was also very appreciated. The other guests were quite friendly and respected quiet times at night. -- POST 2ND STAY: Raising this review from 2.0 to 5.0 as the 2nd stay in deluxe was much better, so I want to average up the two stays. I will still say: stay away from eco mobile homes, and book instead the deluxe mobile home if you want to have a good time.

Our stay was disappointing due to several issues with the property's condition and management policies. The mobile home was cramped and rudimentary. Upon arrival, the porch was filled with ants, suggesting there might have been some food leftovers under the porch. We also reported a broken exterior lamp, but it remained unfixed throughout our stay. We felt the tone of the communication regarding property maintenance was unprofessional and patronizing, which soured our experience. The check-out process was particularly unpleasant; guests are required to undergo an inspection by staff to verify the condition of the unit and the presence of all amenities. Furthermore, the expectation that guests perform deep-cleaning tasks, such as mopping, was not clearly communicated in advance and felt excessive. This left us concerned about the property’s standard of cleanliness for incoming guests. Regarding the booking, there is a lack of transparency between the 'Eco' and 'Deluxe' categories. We expected a specific experience—such as a jacuzzi and a bigger mobile home—which did not meet our expectation. Additionally, charging for Wi-Fi in the current era felt outdated and unreasonable given the cost of the stay. Overall, the strict inspection policies and the requirement to perform cleaning services made us feel unwelcome. I would not recommend this property.
