The best location in Trebinje

Beautiful building, great location and very secure. Comfortable bed and lovely balcony with pretty view.

The bathroom wasn’t the best, and sound proofing was poor - was really noisy when people were in the corridor.

Staff was friendly, helpful and spoke English. We had never heard of this town before and were amazed to discover that the hotel was inside a lived in fortress, full of restaurants and bars. Tourists seem to be almost completely local, so this place is a hidden gem, worth discovering. We decided to stay a bit longer the next day and visited the central park, central square and market, which were outside the old city walls. We only wanted a place to stay on our way to Mostar from Montenegro ... but this town is worth spending more time in. There is also a medieval bridge we did not get to see. The parking lot is close, outside the walls, and protected but we had to call to be able to get inside. We had a good, big breakfast, chosen from a menu.

We had the misfortune of getting a room where the air conditioner made some noise but did not work properly. It was not a very warm night. I am sure that they fixed the problem after we left. We were there just overnight but I would choose to book my stay here again should we return.
