Casa Valle del Turia

The host is very friendly and responsive. She replied to our questions within minutes. The apartment is spacious with an amazing look-out view on the terrace. It has its own garage parking which is a plus in such a town with narrow roads.

Some mattresses are too soft, and gave us a bit of back pain. The biggest problem we had was the shower. There are two showers, but the one downstairs didn't really work: low water pressure, with lukewarm water, so we all had to shower in the bathroom upstairs.

Paula was very responsive, helpful and friendly. Clean, modern appliances, great fire, very well situated for sport climbing and café’s. Very good ambience !

Slightly erratic hot water with the shower.

The house has been beautifully renovated and is right in the middle of the village. The location is very quiet and the wifi worked well. The kitchen is well equipped with a big fridge which was important as we chose to cook ourselves the whole week. (There is no kettle to boil water but the oven is also a microwave and apparently the Spanish put a cup of water in the microwave to get a cup of hot water to make tea). We brought all our own food with us for the week as there are no big shops in the village. However, we could buy freshly baked bread at the bakery every morning which was a delight. You can also buy big bottles of drinking water which for us was better than drinking the tap water which was very chlorinated. The contact with our host Paula was superb! Any questions you have she will answer immediately. We had a wonderful stay here!

The mattress of one of the beds was a bit too soft for our liking. There is sometimes a drain smell which happens in all Spanish towns.
