CN150 boutique studio, charming flat

The flat was exactly as described and had everything we needed for a weeks stay. The kitchen is well equiped, bathroom will designed and clean and there was plenty of room inside the flat. The bed, pillow and sofa were also comfy and well presented. The area surrounding the flat has good bus links, plenty of coffee shops and restaurants and the metro link is a 5 minute walk away. The area felt safe and easy to get to on public transport from the centre of Porto. The taxi ride from the airport was approximately 20 mins. Some might find the location too far out of the centre of Porto, but we were more than happy. We also had a free taxi from the airport which was an excellent service. The automatic passport control machines weren't working and we had a good hour delay and I was worried that we would lose the opportunity to have a taxi provided, but once we confirmed we were through passport control and taxi was allocated and the driver met us in the terminal.

Entry was via an online app, sent by the host. Written instructions were a little basic and could be more detailed with clearer information regarding which door to use and where to find the key. I'm sure if you are used to this type of keyless entry, you will have no trouble at all. Keys were on the kitchen table, not in a lock box as informed by the host. The flat had been advertised as having 'early check-in' available and I requested this on booking and was under the impression from correspondence received that it had been approved. Communication from the host had been regular and friendly but he was unavailable when we arrived for our early check-in. After several attempted phone calls from us and a phone call from the taxi driver, he informed us that he was in a meeting and couldn't organise an early check-in!! After a short wait at a local coffee shop and several text messages to the host, we finally had entry, not as early as requested but earlier than the usual 3pm. No correspondence from booking.com or the host suggested that 'early check-in' hadn't been authorised. Unfortunately my phone was stolen in Porto on our 3rd day, so I have no idea if the host made contact after then. The bed was comfortable but the duvet came without a cover and just a sheet, this may be typical in Portugal but its a but unhygenic to be sleeping in a duvet withou a cover. Extra towels would also be gratefully recieved, as using the same towels for one week is not the best.

Fuimos a pasar varios días y no pudimos elegir mejor. Para poder visitar otros lugares de alrededor, la ubicación es perfecta ya que está ubicado en una buena zona en las afueras donde es fácil aparcar. Para poder visitar Oporto, también genial pues la parada de metro de Combatentes está muy cerca y en menos de 15 minutos estás en pleno centro de la ciudad. En cuanto al apartamento, está cuidado al detalle, con todo lo necesario para que nuestra estancia fuese confortable. Fuimos dos adultos y dos niños y estuvimos muy cómodos. Por último, el trato por parte del anfitrión fue excelente, lo que hizo que la experiencia fuese redonda. Sin duda, un lugar donde volver.
