Bahama Bay Resort and Spa condominium description:
Our newly renovated apartment condominium unit (our home) is located in the beautiful Bahama Bay Resort and Spa (Bahama Bay) fronting on Lake Davenport. Bahama Bay is presently rated on TripAdvisor with four stars. It is recognized as one of the nicest locations in Central Florida. Bahama Bay is gated and guarded with its lush grounds being immaculately maintained throughout the property.
Bahama Bay is great for both families and adults wishing to have the space and comfort of a vacation home while still being within a short 20 to 25 minute drive to Disney World. Bahama Bay with all of its amenities provides a holiday in itself whether you choose to go to the theme parks, or not.
Bahama Bay offers beautiful, well maintained grounds, a private white sand beach, walking/running trails, four heated swimming pools, six hot tubs, a childrens water area with splash park, beach volleyball, basketball, shuffleboard and tennis courts. Additional amenities offered at Bahama Bay include a large clubhouse with full service spa and salon, sauna, bar and grill, restaurant, fitness facility, public computers, free DVD and childrens games room. There is free Wi-fi access within our home and at the clubhouse, restaurant and pool areas.
Our home is located within building 32 and is well situated within the resort (see resort map in Photos) – there is a pool directly behind our building that is perfect for a nice quiet day of relaxation absorbing the amazing Florida sunshine. The two main resort pools that include bar and restaurant services are located within a short walk from our building. Our building is also located within a short walk to the nature reserve where you can see various types of wildlife and enjoy the beautiful walking trails circling the two on-site lakes.
Our 1,227 square foot Platinum rated home is located on the second floor of a three storey walk-up and has two lanais with access to each provided through glass walkouts off of the living room and master bedroom.
Recent renovations and improvements to our home include a new leather queen sleeper sofa and matching love seat in May of 2017, addition of a 49 inch 4 k television in the living room in November of 2016, granite counter tops with new sinks and faucets in the kitchen and both washrooms in September, 2016 along with the replacement of all four kitchen appliances in May, 2016.
Additionally, carpet floor covering throughout our home in conjunction with the replacement of both queen sized box springs and mattresses, installation of a 42 inch flatscreen television in the master bedroom and 32 inch flat screen televisions in the other two bedrooms was completed in the spring of 2014.
The master bedroom suite has a queen bed, four piece ensuite and linai off of it which overlooks the rear park and community pool. A second bedroom offers an additional queen bed with the third bedroom having two twin beds. All bedrooms are serviced with large closets. The living room sofa bed accommodates a further two guests. Accordingly our home sleeps eight comfortably and is equipped with in-unit laundry facilities.
The condominium units within Bahama Bay are privately owned with management of the resort property provided by Wyndham Vacation Rentals. In addition to the cleaning at departure, maid service is also available at any time, for an additional fee.
Inside our home is everything needed to ensure your central Florida holiday is memorable including bed linens, towels, utensils, dishes, etc.
