About this apartment rental
Surfdogz is a comfortable and modern apartment located only a 5 mins walk from the beach and only a few more minutes to the shopping precinct, restaurants etc. Surfdogz has been designed for couples who want to holiday with their "best friend" in mind, with an outdoor hot and cold shower (dog shampoo provided), dog bed, kennel, and a secure, fully enclosed dog proof yard provided. To ensure the owners don't feel left out the apartment has a large living space with kitchenette, brand new bathroom with 'strong flow' shower and separate bedroom with a queen size pillow top bed with dual control electric blankets.
PLEASE NOTE. Surfdogz is located under the main house and as such, whilst we very aware of our guests underneath, some noise such as muffled footsteps etc may be heard. If you are a very light sleeper or have a very reactive dog, you might wish to consider whether Surfdogz is suitable for you.

Pet owners please note. We are happy for your dog to be inside providing they remain off the couch and bed and are house trained. If your dog is still in the chewing, digging, scratching phase of life please understand that their owners will be liable for any damage caused. It is also a family neighbourhood so continually barking dogs are not welcome.

The property was lovely and clean, the host was wonderful to deal with. He also allowed us to check in earlier.If your looking for a place to relax this is it, your in a beautiful part of Lawn.If there is one thing that we would have loved to have had in the unit would have been to have a electric pan as we love having a cooked breakfast when we are away.We loved our stay and will deffintely be back.

Surf dogz Lorne was absolutely delightful and so welcoming for us and our furbaby. Everything was provided for and great communication during the stay and leading up to it. Highly recommend.

Loved almost everything about the property! The only downside was the very steep driveway and very hard to get out. The accommodation was extremely clean, comfortable and inviting. Welcomed with a bottle of wine, chocolate and information booklet on the Lorne amenities. Seamless checkin and checkout. Would’ve loved a cooktop as it was too cold to use bbq. Nice, clean and secure yard for my dog. Very safe and private space for the guests and pets. Well priced also. Would definitely recommend the property - just be prepared for a steep driveway and entry.

Firstly the host was very friendly and accommodating.
I had a couple of issues and they sorted them out for me.
It is very clean, they switched the split system on before I arrived to warm it up. I definitely chose the coldest 3 days of the year to stay at Lorne, only one day was nice enough to walk on the beach. I booked for 3 nights but only stayed for 2 due to the weather. The access to the premises is risky if you have a smaller car, mine is a Corolla. It would be suitable to an SUV or a 4 wheel drive as they don't have a propper driveway, you have to driver over the kerb. The only way I could get in without scraping underneath my car was to drive into next doors driveway and over the grass nature strip to get to their driveway. This got a bit hairy after two or three times, when I left I felt my wheels slipping and I thought I was going to get bogged but I finally got out, my wheels were spinning. They said I could park on the road but it is very narrow and I was concerned my car would get hit.
Plus I had things to carry all the way down their driveway. I realise they live upstairs, but it is a bit noisy through the day, I could hear children running across the floor. It settled down at night but you can hear their every movement, including opening and closing of cupboard doors. There is only a microwave and a kettle/toaster so there is no way to really cook any breakfast there is an outdoor bbq but too cold. It is high up on a hill so quite a walk into Lorne.
