This is a great three bedroom, two bath, A-frame home conveniently located in the ski village, 4 blks to lifts! It is a fantastic location for both summer and winter activities. The main floor has a full kitchen, dining area that seats six, living room with wood burning fireplace, and laundry. There are two bedrooms downstairs and a full bath. In the living room, there is a flat screen tv with Smart TV. The master suite is located upstairs, has a king size bed, a second tv, and a private balcony. The master bath has a jetted tub, perfect after a long day of skiing or hiking. The large deck is a relaxing place for grilling, having a hot/cool beverage, watching the sunset and viewing wildlife. The home is well maintained, has all the amenities. It is decorated with tasteful Southwest/mountain decor
Winter Activities: skiing/recreation: Enjoy a day in the mountains and then come back to relax by the fire or out on the deck! Angel Fire offers skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, horse drawn sleigh rides, and tubing. Take the kids sledding with the saucers/discs provided or let them build a snowman in the yard. Take walks through the woods and enjoy the elk, deer, and other wildlife.
The home is 4 1/2 blocks to the slopes. There is a large parking area a couple blocks away, where a shuttle will pick you up and drop you off right at the lifts. The ski area is family friendly with a variety of green, blue, and black runs as well as terrain parks. Angel Fire is one of the few resorts offering night skiing. Those new to the mountain can enroll in ski or snowboard school for either private or group lessons. This A frame chalet has large windows facing the snow covered Wheeler Peak.
Summer Time Activities: Angel Fire is a really COOL place to escape the summer heat! The temps are in the 70's, humidity in the 20's...you can't get much better than that! There are many activities in the area to keep you busy: Spectacular hiking and mountain biking on any number scenic trails. Hike Wheeler Peak to over 13,000 feet or take a relaxed nature walk near town. There are plenty of places to rent bikes & gear. The area even hosts several mountain bike/road race events. There are trails on the ski mountain and you can take the scenic chair lift ride with your bike on the back. Other activities include: horseback riding, 4-wheeling, river rafting, tennis and fishing. For the kids there are playgrounds at the community center and at Olympic Park, a climbing wall at the base of the ski area, and paddle boats/row boats at Monte Verde Lake.

Host was responsive, location is very close to slopes, wonderful dog run, kitchen supplies well stocked and clean. Plenty of space for my husband and I and 4 teen boys. They had a great time skiing and we had a great time relaxing! We had a visit from some deer our last evening there.

The cozy chalet was perfect for our family! It was very clean, fully stocked with everything we needed and exactly like the pictures. It was like being at home but with more fun games and movies than we have at our house. In the evenings, we had so much fun trying new games as a familyThe view from the porch was fantastic! We would enjoy the scenery from the kitchen, dinning, and living room all day. On our third day at that chalet, a large deer was walking down the street right outside the window! It was so cool! The garage was perfect for loading our larger truck with skiing and hiking supplies. It was raining when we arrived and the garage was a life safer to get the car unloaded.Our host was very responsive and sent several ideas to help our family plan the trip.

The cabin was wonderful and the location was great. Very close to the ski area, hiking locations, and restaurants. The cabin was very clean, cozy, and had everything we needed. Would definitely stay again, highly recommended.

Very nice cabin centrally located. Everything we needed was there. Enjoyed the deer coming around & a few nights they slept in the backyard! Enjoyed riding our bikes in the neighborhood.
