A very attractive villa set in lovely grounds. The villa itself is not large, but is quite suitable for a couple or family with two or three children. The facilities are excellent, standard high, and the owners (who live in the adjacent property) absolutely charming. The house is about two kilometres from Ermioni and you really need to drive this. The nearby beach is not especially attractive but there are plenty of good ones within striking distance. The town is very picturesque and does not suffer from discos or loud night clubs. There are several good restaurants, and an ample number of other shops. Not the place for you if you are looking for an active night life. More suitable if you are after a quaint and picturesque environment not overwhelmed by tourists. A day trip to Hydra is highly recommended. We also visited Nafplio and Mycenae (together) and Epidavros (separate occasion). Both involve quite long but pleasant drives. 3 hours by car from Athens. Car hire easily available at airport. Good roads (stop to see Corinth Canal) and pleasant places to stop en route (esp Palea Epidavros).

On July 2007 we spent our summer holidays in "Ermioni Villas" in Ermioni - Peloponnese. "Ermioni Villas" is a beautiful villa that can accommodate up to 8 persons. My family and I had a wonderful time there since everything was perfect. We had endless moments of relaxation in the private heated pool, superb BBQ nights at the BBQ area and excellent coctail parties at the pool-bar! The service was perfect! Everything was clean, linen and towels were provided as well as daily maid service. The owner was very friendly and allways trying his best in order to please us with discretion. He was willing to give us any information about Ermioni and other places of interest nearby. We had the chance to visit many historical sites with daily trips since Ermioni is very close to Nafplio, Epidavros, Mycenae, Tiryns and the Saronic islands of Hydra and Spetses. I believe that Ermioni is the perfect place for vacation since it combines tranquility and offers a variety of entertainment at a short distance. We stayed there for two weeks and believe me ... it was not enough!!! A look at the website www.ermionivillas.gr will convince you that "Ermioni Villas" is truly an earthly paradise...
