Location: Contemporary apartment complex on the Northern Cartagena Beach of La Boquilla.
Located just 5 minutes from the International Airport, 300 yards from the renowned Las Americas Hotel and 10 minutes from the Colonial Walled City. Enjoy a relaxing day at the beach or take a 10 minute cab ride to the Walled City.
Home of the Nobel Laureate Gabriel Garcia Marquez, Cartagena was founded in 1533 and has been designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The Building: Residents have access to three miles of beaches, two swimming pools, a complete exercise gym facility, 10,000 sq. yards of common areas with tropical gardens and private underground parking. 24 hour security with doormen at the main and beach entrances.

Everything about this property and the amenities were amazing. The housekeeper and cook Iraida was an amazing host and her cooking and kind personality made us feel like we were with my family. Be aware that the cooking and cleaning services are included in your price. But IN ADDITION to the services that are included, you will need to pay for the food that Iraida prepares. She does provide receipts so you can see what you're paying for. It was well worth it to me. Iraida also did an amazing job keeping the space spotless, and smelling fresh and clean. She was definitely a highlight of the trip. I found myself missing her cooking once we were gone :-).
The location couldn't be better as it is a 10 minute drive from the airport and 10 - 15 min from the Walled City, restaurants, bars, and the pick up locations for the amazing excursions we did. Christian did a great job communicating with me as well. The property itself felt and was extremely safe, and being so close to the beach made for a great time. The grounds were amazingly kept, the pool was cleaned at a minimum daily, and the staff was friendly and accomodating.
The only complaint I had was that the wifi didn't work the entire time we were there (7-Days), so that caused a bit of disruption with communication and made my phone bill higher once I was home. But everything else was amazing. I would highly recommend this space and when I return to Cartagena, I will be staying there again.

The property is so convenient to airport, one flight of stairs to the pools, a few more steps to the ocean, and the balcony! Oh the balcony! And the hammock! And the housekeeper! Iraida is a gem. The breakfasts she made for us were amazing. She even washed/dried folded our stuff without being asked. The master has a queen bed. The second bedroom has two full beds we moved together. And the third has to bunk-ish beds that would be great for kids and sufficed for adults but nothing easily connected. Only modest issue: wifi slow and a little spotty. Could be an issue if you had an important Zoom. Definitely not up to US standard. But we made do pretty well. And I read two actual books!Owner very responsive to inquiries. Especially during Covid, allow LOTS AND LOTS of time for airport departure. It’s as if the Colombian is trying to leave you with the worst possible feeling after a wonderfully relaxing few days. Be sure to find out well in advance what you’ll need — ideally with access to a printer, although American’s VERIFLY app, which is no fun, eventually got the job done, but only because one of our group was good at modifying a PDF file on his laptop and from there to his phone. “You don’t want to know.”
