The house and the hosts. Extremely hospitable. Made you feel at home. This was the best B&B I’ve ever stayed in. Lovely furnishings in a geographically beautiful setting. They let us use the kitchen and family room. Lit the fire places. Suggested excellent drives. Gratitude to Rachael and James and Ruffus (who even cleaned my car). Lovely dogs too (so friendly). Super breakfast.

We loved our stay at Balvraid Lodge. We were treated so well by the hosts and they were very helpful, even helping with our bags. The location was lovely and quiet and driving instructions very clear. The breakfast was also excellent! The best BnB we have ever stayed in as the hosts were so attentive to your needs and provided exceptional service.
We loved everything about this Bed and Breakfast.

Absolutely outstanding. Rachael and James have attended to all the details, from a roaring fire when a bit cooler, to huge comfortable beds with quality linen. Even use of the kitchen for evening meals by guests. I wish we could have stayed longer, but we are already looking to return. Lots of walks and sights to see in a short drive from the Lodge. Truly outstanding in every respect.
