Cozy environment

Excellent location, walking distance for the town, shops, restaurants, etc. Very beautiful garden, well maintained. We enjoyed it.

We had to share the kitchen so less privacy. Fortunately a couple we shared was nice people. We enjoyed a company.

Comfy room in a nice house on a large plot.

Lions Head is a very small & quiet place, with only a couple of dining options. Nothing after 9pm that we found. Communication with the host was poor/slow, and the only reason we were able to enter our room at all (one hour after arrival and because the code provided to us didn’t work as it should’ve) was because another guest managed to contact the host via phone on our behalf. Also our toilet flush didn’t work; I messaged but nothing happened. I left some chocolate milk in the fridge, and it was removed within 18 hours; presumably by either a thief or an over-exuberant cleaner. The room had a fan only, and in July-2023 the nights were very warm (interestingly, the upper landing outside our room had chilly but noisy aircon).
