LITORAL COSTA DORADA - CASA AUSTRAL Only families

The location of Casa L'Austral is perfect if you are travelling with young children or if you simply are not in the mood for fuss / noise etc. A few minutes away from the beach (a very child friendly beach), several shops a few minutes away and a restaurant 1 min walk away, the place is perfect for an idyllic holiday. The rooms are large enough to be comfortable and the kitchen has everything you need in terms of utensils and appliances. The terrace is amazing and the garden even more so - we hardly spent any time in the living room, though that room is also comfortable enough. There's a washing machine in the garage and various other beach-related stuff - there was, however, no washing detergent. You would have to bring or buy it yourself. The beds were large enough (queen size) and the bathrooms were spacious. The place scores high on privacy :) nobody bothers you there.

No handsoap in the bathroom, no toilet paper in the house, the beds are old and squeaky (and i mean squeaky enough that you can hear people in other rooms turning in their beds while they sleep), the bedsheets are clean but smell of the cupboards they are kept in (the house is really old and I doubt it has been refurbished since being built. the cupboards in the rooms smell of old and unused). The towels in the bathroom were rather old and thin, and far from enough for 7 days stay. Since there is no one from the agency visiting the place during your stay, there's no chance for clean towels or any other luxuries, such as toilet paper or handsoap (again, you have to buy them yourself, including dishwasher detergent if you wish to use it) Remember there is no wifi in the house.
