Friendly and helpful host. Lovely location. Very well and thoughtfully equipped room including microwave, toaster, kettle, fridge and air fryer. Nice bathroom. Car parking in front. Beautiful little village.

Excellent room with comfy bed, large bathroom, good shower, fridge, microwave, selection of cereals and porridge and cereal bars for breakfast, milk/tea/coffee provided. Table and chairs with plates, bowls, mugs, glasses, cutlery. Seaview from room, nice quiet village. The Hive Cafe is really excellent for daytime food (especially the noodle bowls), the Harbour Inn very good for evening (make a reservation in advance). Close to Wigtown and Galloway House Garden. Parking on street out front. Very good value for money, I would stay here again.

Location on sea front with sea views wonderful.
A sharp knife, can opener, bread knife and a couple of biggish pyrex bowls for food prep would be a welcome addition.

Absolutely loved the location. Very quiet and quaint. The room was comfortable but a bit shabby.
Great shower and lovely touches with breakfast items, milk, butter and a loaf left. Microwave and air fryer for use.
I didn’t like the quality of the bed and bedding. The bed needs replacing, frame is okay but the mattress was very old. Also new duvet and pillows.
