This beautiful 1 bedroom, 2 bathroom condo features luxury, comfort, and celestial views of the Gulf. Calypso Resort is located in the heart of Panama City Beach located by the best shopping and dining!
Gulf Vistas welcomes you with open arms as your first glance includes the floor-to-ceiling patio doors that take you onto the expansive balcony with ample outdoor seating and amazing views of the emerald green waters and shimmering white sands. The living area features high-end luxury furnishings including a queen sofa sleeper, flat-screen HDTV, and breathtaking views. Formal dining seating for four and added breakfast bar seating allowing everyone to dine together. The fully equipped kitchen features stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, and everything you'll need to create sumptuous coastal cuisine for the entire family.
Guest will need to pre-register online for a parking pass BEFORE arrival. There is a one car limit per reservation.

The room was very nice and the view was excellent. Panama City was beautiful and the facilities were excellent. I would have rated higher except for one two complaints. The showers and facilities in the bathrooms do not have safety bars. While this was not advertised as ADA compliant, I believe any vacation rental should have safety bars in the showers and toilets. Secondly, the picture in the listing showed a bedroom view of the ocean. Unfortunately, that was not correct. However, the view from the living room and balcony was fantastic. All in all, I believe this to be an excellent rental. The room was very clean and well appointed. The View is excellent and the beach is fantastic.

Was a wonderful stay! Clean and had everything we needed. My only thing I would add is I like having an extra lock on the door like a deadbolt or something similar. But even without that I would stay again!

The Calypso is a great resort - amazing view, right on the beach! The room was clean and ready to go for us. The staff on site were so helpful and kind. I highly recommend this resort!! The tiki bar next to the pool is amazing. The property managers of this particular unit were not that helpful. I recommend booking your stay at Calypso directly with the onsite property manager (Panhandle Getaways). So probably not this individual unit. The manager that owns this specific property is not on site and does not understand the rules of this property. They told us we could not have a second parking spot in the parking deck but the onsite folks at Panhandle Getaways helped us despite our units property manager saying it was 'impossible'. A few small things were broken (toaster didn't work) but overall the unit was fine. Definitely check out Calypso but maybe find a different unit owned by an onsite property manager.

This being my birthday weekend, by myself, I had expected a nice, relaxing stay at this resort (for what it cost). Upon arrival, I attempted to check in and was literally ignored as he took care of the "owners" that were checking in. Once I spoke up, he simply said you can just go up and use your code. No check-in, no enjoy your stay, no info about the chairs, nothing. There is a wristband that you have to wear to access the property pools that I should have received in my "packet at check-in". Went back to the desk for it and he said "I'll go ahead and give you one but you have to return it". Once inside the 12th floor condo, it was nice and clean but hardly updated. Bed is not comfortable. TV's were so old, you could not get prime channels. I called (before7p) and got their answering service and was told (again) I'd have to wait until the next day. When they did show up (2 nice guys) they had to swap the 2 tv's to get things working. 2nd day I discovered the hair dryer was broken. Called around 5p (before their cutoff of 7p) and again got answering service and was told I had to call back in the morning. So I had no choice but to go out for my bday dinner with wet hair, nice. So....the condo is nice but if I stayed again, I would not book thru Blue Swell. And the added on fees and taxes (very vague) almost doubled my reservation. ** The security guard there is awesome and very helpful and the guys at the tiki bar rock!**
