Welcome to Mariposa Azul. Surrounded by Mayan jungle, Mariposa Azul rests inside Zama Village a luxurious residential complex and the first building to open in Aldea Zama master planned development. New, modern and minutes away from the white sand beaches of Tulum. Aldea Zama is a secure community with 24 hour security at the sole entrance. Zama Village has secure gated access with onsite security and onsite parking for guests. This 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom condominium has everything you need to have a relaxed stress free vacation in the middle of Mayan culture.
Located on the 2nd floor, comes fully furnished and fully equipped kitchen with all the appliances. Stainless steel refrigerator, electric stove/oven, microwave and granite countertops in the kitchen. Tile bathrooms with marble countertops, tiled walls and glass shower enclosure in both full bathrooms. Washer and dryer alcove, air conditioning in all rooms, ceilings fans, window blinds, built-in closets with drawers. Two Queen size beds with 100% cotton bed linens by Simply Vera Wang and plush oversized towels. A 40 inch Samsung HDTV & BluRay/DVD Player in the living area, a PlayStation 3 deck , games, iPhone/iPod/MP3 players with FM clock radios in both bedrooms, queen size pillowtop Serta Mattresses. An optional inflatable bed for additional guests or children is available.
Zama Village has a beautiful private pool with kids shallow end and garden area for guests to enjoy. Sit on the spacious private balcony and relax while overlooking the gorgeous pool and garden area below. Bikes are a great way to explore the area. You can ride to the beach, shopping for groceries or a trip to town on the designated bike paths for your convenience. We suggest iBike Tulum nearby for rentals or similar.

Zama Village is ideally located between the beaches of Tulum with over 50 restaurants, bars and beachclubs and the pueblo of Tulum with many more restaurants, shopping and modern facilities to enjoy. Outside of Aldea Zama is a Pemex gas station, Police and EMS station and nearby is the new supermarket Chedraui, where you can do all your shopping, access ATMs and stockup for your in condo meals and refreshments.

Starting with the owner's speedy communication about the place , providing details of it, welcoming us to the rental, and continuing with the property manager, Cathy Cairelli , who took the time to give us smart recommendations of the surroundings , our stay was awesome! We are highly recommending this rental.

We stayed at this property in mid November as a family of 4 with 2 kids aged 4 and 1.
Before checkin Bill was great sending informative messages. He kindly arranged a cot for us for our baby which was really handy.
Closer to the date we were put in touch with Cathy who took care of us during our stay. Cathy was really friendly and responsive throughout our time there. She was very accessible via whatsapp and gave us a great briefing when we first met her. We had minor items that needed to be addressed during our stay and Cathy always sorted things out within hours.
The place itself is really spacious and the pictures reflect the quality of the acommodation. We really liked the pool and it has a nice shallow part for kids.
Aldea Zama is tucked away behind the town and there is a nice lot of restaurants about 500m away from this accommodation which will keep you well fed. The beaches were 15-20 minutes away which was close enough for us and the town was about 10 minutes drive.
I would stay here again, we had a good time and so did our kids!

The condo is just as described, the location is ideal for a vacation in which you plan to visit the ruins, cenotes and the beach
