Maria was the most welcoming and helpful host. She gave lots of local tips and made our stay extra special by welcoming us with cakes and being always responsive. The apartment was spacious, clean, with lots of amenities and in the centre of Lousa. We felt very comfortable with our stay. One of the best stays we have had.

Helpful things to know that weren’t as nice as other places: it’s on the upper floor with no elevator; it has no central heating - only plug in heaters in some of the rooms not all that didn’t keep up with the chilly February weather; poorly constructed- windy night caused interior door to slam - which explains chilly apartment. Washing machine was finicky and property owner did not know how to fix- locked our clothes in washer - sometimes it worked and didn’t. Heat wasn’t on when we got there and took hours to get at least warmish. Only two bed pillows for two bedrooms other than decorative pillows.
