About this house rental
A beautiful log home with all new amenities. Completely remodeled with everything furnished for you. Located right on the Kenai river in the heart of the city of Soldotna. Walking distance to stores, restaurants, local drinking establishments and coffee shop. The house looks over the Kenai River with private access to the river for fishing. Just walk out the back door and down the steps. The house has three bedrooms. There is a master bedroom with bath. The other two bedrooms overlook the river. Large living room with two full size couches and plenty of floor space if needeed for extra guests. new "up to date" kitchen and a large dining area. Off of the kitchen out the back door is a new large deck with seating to enjoy the view of the river along with all the birds such as Bald Eagles, Variety of Gulls , Stellar Jays just to name a few. Also included is a washer, dryer iron and iron board. In the garage there is a chest freezer and vacuum sealer on a large table to package your fish at no extra cost.

The house is in a great location and right on the Kenai River. Robin, the home owner, met us upon check in and even brought us homemade cookies and farm fresh eggs from her chickens! The home is fully stocked, has comfortable beds and pillows, black out blinds and everything we needed. We had been on the road for almost a week before getting to Soldotna and really wanted a home cooked meal. The kitchen was very organized and easy to navigate. The location was perfect for us as we wanted to visit Seward and Homer for the day. The drive was beautiful! Unfortunately, we were a couple weeks early for the salmon run on the Kenai River but we did have luck on the Kasilof River! The deep freezer and vacuum seal machine was a huge perk in helping keep the salmon frozen until we were ready to leave. We’re already talking about going back and staying here again! We loved it!

The house was perfect, and the view was absolutely amazing! Robin was a wonderful host, easy to contact, responsive, and thoughtful throughout our stay. She even provided fresh eggs from her chickens, which was such a special touch. The house was stocked with so many thoughtful extras and essentials that made our stay comfortable and feel like home. We truly appreciated all the personal touches and would happily stay here again. Highly recommend!

I can’t say enough great things about this property and host. We had every household item you could possibly need. The house was so nice. The landing where we fished was set up with everything we needed. We will forever call Robin a friend.
