About this villa rental
Disorientation and peace in this charming quite wooden villa, on the heights of 'morne champagne' and leaned in the forest, in some 150 meters on foot by the beach(range) and 300m of the center of fishermen's village of the Handles of Arlets. The sea view is magnificent quiet and of the forest will enchant you.
You will find in the village of grocer's shops for your first races(shopping), a small market, some restaurants among which not bad on the beach(range). You will attend on the return to the fishermen in the morning or in the evening and can buy them some fish which you will savour cooked on the barbecue of the villa.
A few meters away from the villa is a hiking trail which will allow you to join in 45 minutes the bay of grande anse and its charming frame
it will be easy to you to put palms, masks and snorkels to go to swim and to admire fishes.
The villa possesses its private parking lot. You will arrive by a very soft staircase made by big landings for the first terrace and its swimming pool. the rooms are distributed on 2 levels. The living area rez of garden with a space lounge and American kitchen looking on to 2 other terraces all with a view of the sea. The 2sd level distributes 3 air-conditioned and very comfortable rooms, a bathroom with Italian-style shower and toilets and 1 toilets separated, and 2 additional terraces.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the privacy and tranquility of this beautiful villa.
The photographs are accurate. The villa is situated at the edge of a forest yet within walking distance of the beach and restaurants.
It is a perfect place for couples or small groups.

This is a wooden construction with an open, outdoor feel, with all that implies. Like everything else anywhere in the French tropics, windows and doors are not screen, but even in the evening, mosquitoes were a non-issue (from a Canadian view point). Just the right distance from the small town, our favourite on the island, great town beach. We had one day of heavy rain ("alerte orange" from the weather service), and, despite the creek running high right beside the house, everything went well. Not a lot of pics the the 2nd floor bedroom on the English website, but we were not disappointed. Nice bathrooms, nice kitchen with everything one could need. The greatest feature was the view. We would definitely go back.
