Very quiet - surrounded by fields - near to Pt Lynas for dolphins watching Very cosy once we’d worked out storage heaters! Good WiFi and smart tv. Lots of games. Everything we needed - grandparents, married couple and 4 year old. Plus 2 dogs. Large garden/lawn around. Could watch but not hear fireworks at Amlwch which was ideal for the dogs! Conservatory also great for watching sunrise and sunsets. And the stars there are amazing. Dark skies!!!!
This was our second visit / so these are really just minor quibbles. We knew and liked the cottage and were very happy to book it again. E.g the kitchen is really only big enough for one person at a time. But we managed fine. We had to contact owner regarding the heating - someone before us had switched off the storage heaters! Once this was sorted we were really cosy The upstairs double bed is quite small but we managed! None of these put us off renting it snd we’d love to come again

This is a lovely 3 bed cottage set in idyllic grounds with fantastic views of the surrounding area. Everything you need is in the house and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The description given by the owner is spot on and Helen is very helpful with the booking process.
There was nothing to dislike about the property although a car is vital to get around.

Excellent information about local area from the host.
Lovely location, perfect base to explore. Very comfortable and cozy. Everything we needed to hand

Location - quiet, near local walks and a bit of an escape
Allowed dogs (my friend has a small dog so was a requirement)
Clean bedding and towels
Detached, separate bedrooms and nice garden (note not fenced off for security pet and children wise)
The property could do with some updating / attention. Furniture is very tired and all the fabrics and wardrobes smelt musty with some washing I hung to dry upstairs drying with the same musty smell.
The bedding and towels were all clean and fresh smelling though
There is a lot of ‘stuff’ in the property that is dated and worn - if only a holiday home I would clear some of it out for a fresher feel and a bit of a deep clean, the kitchen cupboards had some broken items and things like spices years out of date. There wasn’t a complete set of 6 cutlery items if you have a family staying….. front door had gaps in it and lock wasn’t great… second bathroom was not very nice and upstairs is musty with just the main bedroom feeling nice (I didn’t stay in there and got the second double room upstairs where the bf is a small double)
Could have some attention and be great given the location
Dishwasher door doesn’t open fully and needs a shove to shut properly plus the washing machine leaks a little but still good to have both utilities available whilst away

Location, cozy cottage, big garden.
Not enough cutlery for 5 people, the dishwasher door was hanging off so difficult to use, no cheese grater! Furniture in lounge old and worn. Bunk beds upstairs had very little head room which made sleeping unconfortable for my chidlren. THe slats underneath the top bed were not secured so moved about. Mattresses all comfortable. Sveral loose paving stones on patio area which are dangerous.

Excellent position for setting out for coastal path walks. Roomy house. Pleasant at the back with conservatory and large patio with table and chairs.
Not a big issue, but Problems with shower so we all had baths.
