Home from home

The apartment was on the second floor overlooking ricefields and neighbouring villas. We chose this apartment as it was close to our daughter who lives in Canggu. It was very spacious, very clean and very comfortable. Bathroom was spotless. Nice swimmingpool on first floor. Supermarket, pharmacy and cafes nearby. Staff was very welcoming and helpful. As we stayed there for four weeks the apartment felt like our second home at the end. We were sorry to leave and would come back again.

Kyara Villa Apartments is located along one of the main roads from Berawa to Seminyak. There is a lot of traffic which did not cause any problems at nighttime. However, walking can be difficult, especially towards the beach.

key collection is easy

this has to be the least comfortable property in the whole Canggu area, I am pretty sure with a bit more research an even better value for money that is more modern and comfortable is possible, I would not stay here again

A great stay in Canggu

Cleanest place that I've stayed at in during all of my travels. Owner and staff were very welcoming and you can see the beach as well as the beach clubs from the window. I'd highly recommend

Great location! .. Helpful and easygoing staff.. cosy convenient private stay. The masseuse that services the villa is incredible 🙌🏻 The photos show the Beach club 'Mari' Which is a 5-minute walk down the road.. and brilliant at sunset 👌🏻

Spacious, good air con. You can access the Finns beach club area on foot by going down the road through either the beach or one of the side streets and through to Caravan beachfront restaurant. (Doesn't show route on google maps). Access to the nearby main street with massage and restaurants within walking distance. Small supermarket very close.

There was a smell from the bathroom. Resolved buying an air freshener from the shop across the road for less than 10,000. Needs an exhaust fan. The shower pan fills up very quickly. You can hear the traffic noise inside the room (not really disruptive though). There is no footpath to the main street from the accommodation can be a bit exciting negotiating through the traffic.

Cynthia met me on arrival and showed me around. I met her partner and owner Mr Joe and the people and the room AND THE POOL were all fantastic! I had some friends come and visit and the owners/staff greeted them with open arms. My friends were jealous that I had such a good room and hotel.

ummmmm. I don't like giving an honest review on how great Kyara Villa is because it may be booked out and I won't be able to get a room next time I try to ! haaha. The only "Fault" was no restaurant BUT there are several really good places close by. 5 min walk.

Quiet for a Month's Stay

We stayed in the one-bedroom apartment for a month. The pictures look just like the room. It's quiet, except for the loud motorbikes at night, which is not the venue's fault; you can get a good night's rest here. People complain about the location as there is no sidewalk however, that's all of Canggu. It's not any better in any other area. Soft beds, the kitchen has all of the equipment you may need to cook full meals, as there is no restaurant.

They were having power issues when we stayed in May. It usually turns on within a few minutes, but working from the villa can be frustrating with spotty wifi. Hopefully, they get it fixed soon. And the 11-minute walk to do laundry was pretty dangerous, they really should add a laundry service, we would have gladly paid extra for it.

Superb Location with Nearby Megamart

Though the main entrance is at a small alley that is easy to miss, the location is extremely great. Theres the biggest of supermarket that you can find in all of canggu that is just a 2min walk away. Theres even a speciality chocolate shop just beside it, and so many other gems around.

Having to lug your own luggage up a steep flight of steps wasnt too ideal, but other than that everything was great! The room was really clean.

Absolutely disappointing experience

We liked the chairs with TV. Great location with caffès, Pepito market across the road.

We had a truly disappointing experience at this villa. From the moment we arrived, we felt misled and ignored. The room was extremely dark, with no windows in the bedroom and only one heavily tinted window, making it feel like a cave. On top of that, there was constant noise due to ongoing construction in the neighboring room. We initially agreed to stay because the owner promised that drilling would only take place from 11 AM to 1 PM and that all construction would be finished by February 17th. In reality, the drilling often continued until 2 or even 3 PM, and the construction dragged on until February 28th. Every time we reminded them of our agreement, they either ignored us or pretended it wasn’t their fault, blaming the workers instead. Although we did receive a 50% refund, it doesn’t change the fact that all the conditions we agreed upon were completely ignored. The internet was unreliable, making remote work difficult, and frequent power interruptions only made things worse. Our motorbike was constantly covered in dust, and staying in the villa became a daily struggle of noise, darkness, and frustration. If you’re looking for a peaceful and comfortable stay, avoid this place at all costs. We left feeling exhausted, disrespected, and completely deceived.

Peaceful little gem right in the middle of the hustle and bustle!

This is a little gem right in the middle of the hustle and bustle. It still actually has rice paddy surrounds! Most facilities are within walking distance. A fully equipped kitchen and lots of seating are a bonus. There is a very well equipped supermarket just across the road. The rooms are surprisingly quiet, despite being close to main roads. Would highly recpmmend this to anyone especially with families. Great value here.

Wonderful beach club near to this place, 8-9 min to the beach

As for the premises, it is really wonderful, there is everything you need. Kitchen, large beds, ample space. The staff is veery friendly!) There is a small gym, decent pool, area for remote work and hanging out. Also as soon as we had a request to change the room it was satisfied. Also someone mentioned that there is no direct way to the ocean, in fact there is a bridge now, so it would take about 8-10 min to get there. Also if you are there it is really necessary for you to visit Cafe del Mear beach club. That place is absolutely amazing. Plan it and go!) The nearest big supermarket with everything you need is 3-5 minutes away.

I think it was my mistake not to check location properly. It turned out to be near the heavily trafficked road. But after several days we asked the change the room and we were upgraded to the room where the noise was less audible. To be fair the price of this place is much lower than others, so I accepted.

Great (if you have transport)

Everything is great. Comfortable bed, hot shower, fast internet, you can make a tea or even do small cooking (there is a supermarket nearby).

The only one thing - if you don’t have any transport it will be difficult, even dangerous to go out, especially go to the beach. There aren’t sidewalk, so I wouldn’t recommend to go out after sunset without transport.

Great place for long term stay.

Everything it was a lovely place to stay, we stayed for 1 month, I honestly can't fault it. The apartment was spotless, and the staff were really helpful and friendly. The bed was really comfortable, and the filtered drinking water from the taps is a bonus, especially when you're in bali.

The road when you leave the hotel is very tight for space when walking, but this has nothing to do with the hotel and isn't their fault in any way.

Affordable, spacious, comfortable, clean and close to everything you’d need.

The apartment was clean, spacious and so comfortable. The beach is only 5 minutes walk down the road and supermarket and massages only 2 minutes walk. Our hosts were very accommodating and we felt like family. We’ll definitely return. If mobility is a problem there are two huge staircases to climb. We enjoyed the exercise though. The apartment looks over a working rice field and it was fascinating watching the lady farmer scaring the birds off the crop.

We were there in high season and there was so much traffic. The road is not very well maintained and not very big without a sidewalk. It’s almost impossible to walk along the road, to for example some nice restaurants or a beach club. It’s actually dangerous. But likely you can book a grab car for already like 3 €… that saved our stay! Just that because of the volume of the traffic it wasn’t even possible to relax at the pool. In the room however it was quiet and we had no trouble sleeping.

Nothing I didn't like, this was perfect for us. Had a kitchenette into the room that we didn't use but was well equipped. The place was so clean even the main areas. Some people with mobility problems may find the steps to each floor (there is 3) a problem. Pin the location for your driver as the entrance is on a side road not the main road

Good value and location but some issues

- Amazing location. Low Canggu (beginning of Berawa) so it's super easy to travel to Seminyak, Umalas or Canggu. - Love the rice field view. - Size of the room and the bed - Nice reclining sofa - Fast and strong wifi - Tiny and rusty gym but better than nothing (just gotta be oiled a bit) - Filtered water for shower and drinking

- The brightness in the early morning woke me up every morning as there is no curtain on one side of the room - Bathroom has no wall so it would be very inconvenient and awkward if you stay here with a girl/boyfriend or have an unexpected guest. You could hear everything and probably smell no.2 too lol - Although the room is well sound proofed, you can still hear those super loud motorcycles passing by as the property is located next to the road

A relaxing slice of paradise in lovely Berawa 🏖️

Our room was beautiful, huge and quiet with gorgeous rice paddy views. The staff were amazing, they let you do your own thing whilst always being available if you need anything such as bike rental, car pick ups, and you can choose if you want your room cleaned daily or not. There is a water filter on the tap in the rooms so you can drink it which was so welcomed as sometimes we’d forget to purchase water. The pool area is fantastic, so clean and private, great for a day of relaxation. The whole apartment block is such a nice relaxing place to spend a week or so, only 5 mins drive from Berawa’s eateries and shops as well as the beach, and 10 mins drive from Canggu. 🩷

The villa is situated on a corner of a busy road so be careful when turning in/out of the driveway if you rent a moped.

The location is terrible if you don't want to have a scooter, yeah the beach is nearby, but the beach is unusable and you have to drive somewhere else. If you want to walk to the nearby shop you have to walk on a very dangerous road. Also didn't like there's a big gap under the door in the ground apartment so we had ants, centipedes and so on on a daily visits.

Great apartments with fantastic staff

Lovely, friendly staff who will do anything to help you. The room was lovely. Great location between Seminyak and Canggu so it’s not too busy. The pool is great and it even has a little gym!

The windows don’t provide much blocking of noise so it can get quite loud with bikes and cars zooming past.
