Nice in pictures, less so in experience

This is a nice modern apartment with big windows but no really views.

- The pictures on the website create the impression that the residence is a secluded retreat surrounded by nature, near a pond. In reality, it is an apartment within a residential block, with a staircase and parking area in front of it on the ground floor (no pond detected). - One of the most important aspects of comfortable accommodation is a good night’s sleep. Unfortunately, the quality of the mattresses in one of the bedrooms was very poor. - The number of house rules is somewhat overwhelming. Instead of feeling welcomed and cared for as guests, one gets the impression that the main priority is protecting the apartment rather than ensuring the guests’ comfort. - Communication with the management could be improved. Responses were slow. We had to send several reminders regarding check-in instructions on the day of arrival, and the correct Wi-Fi information was only provided on the last evening before departure. - Overall, there was a feeling of being somewhat pushed around. The cleaning lady arrived precisely at check-out time and moved impatiently through the apartment, repeatedly saying “catastrophe” upon noticing that the bathroom mirror had been temporarily placed in the bedroom for convenience while doing make-up. This incident, together with the overall experience, left a somewhat unpleasant aftertaste.

Nice week in the Ardennes with + and -

We stayed at the Ardennes apartment which has a great view with large windows. Nice living room, kitchen and dining area. Nice quite place

When we arrived the bathroom sanitair was already loose from the wall and when we left we did get questions if we did this. There was no shower only a bath in the Ardennes appartement. The pillows were used to much and should be replaced and cleaning can be better. In the house rules was clearly written to be quite after 9 or 10 PM but the neighbors had a party going on till 4 AM in the morning which wake us up time to time. For this amount of time money we expect higher value for money in terms of service.

Ideal stay for our purposes.

Very nice appartment. Looks brand new. Well equiped. We got a bottle of bubbles at arrival as well as 2 small bottles of water. Large kitchen. Nice terrace with chairs and table. Quiet location, outside of Tilff

There are 2 rooms. One small (parents) and one smaller (kids). Travelling with 4 adults, this was a (small) challenge. Bathroom is on the smaller side. Only 1 sink but with a nicu rainshower. Not easy to put towels to dry. A dry-rack would have been easy. Tilff is closeby, however not within walking distance due to busy road to take.

Idyllic.

This place exceeded all of our expectations. The location was idyllic, private and very quiet. Perfect to wind down after a long day/week of work. It has all necessary utensils to cook and make yourself at home & is very close to a really sweet and authentic supermarket. We would love to come back if ever in that area again. 100% would further recommend.

There is no curtain in the bathroom to take a shower. This is really the only thing we missed since we are more shower than bath people.

We got a very nice apartment. The apartment is really cozy and inviting, we didn't want to leave the apartment. The hosts took care of light refreshments and left us wine and cookies. We really enjoyed the apartment, it was very clean. We will definitely come back to stay again. Perfect apartment!!!

Lived up to my expectations

We stayed on one of the ground floor appartements (Cosy). It’s a nice modern appartement with luxurious shower, kitchen, beds,… all according to the photo’s (and more). We enjoyed the covered terrace during the hot days and during the rain. Enough storage space even for longer stays. The appartement temperature was about 25 - 26°C during a few very hot days (>30°) remarkable with those lovely large windows all around the living spaces. The bedrooms have insect screens. Good location, easy access to ‘Rue des Messes’ to walk to the center of Tilff (with train station) and to grocery shops,… Short walks in the woods starting very close to the appartement. In this residence privacy of all other residents and renters is high priority. Which means all residents and renters need to stay on their own terras and are not allowed on the grass. No problem for us, we like our privacy. We were welcomed with a nice bottle and some cookies. Bed sheets and towels were included. We opened the door using a code we received. We liked it not needing to socialise with the owner or receptionist.

I was surprised to see the gardener only a few feet away while I was sunbathing :p. We really disliked the ‘perfume’ used in the kitchen. We placed it outside near the front door and even then it kept stinking while being on the terras. Eventually we placed it on our parking spot :). We couldn’t find the manuals of the kitchen equipments, heating, cooling,…, we missed information about the area, history, nice places, walks, the opening hours of the ‘office du tourisme’, breakfast services nearby, restaurants,… The only book present and shown on the coffee table was about hunting wild animals?! Personally I found it distasteful and shocking. But easily tucked away :) Enough nitpicking, we really enjoyed the appartement, location,…

Super beautiful modern house in the middle of nature

The house is super modern and really well decorated. The beds were super comfortable. The house was super clean. We also loved the location of the house, in the middle of the nature but walking distante from Tilff city center, where you can find a lot of nice restaurants.

The kitchen facilities and glassware were great. The terrace was lovely in the sunshine.

The apartment was very clean and comfortable.

The shower in the bathroom was a bit inconvenient to use as there was no shower curtain. Anyhow not a big issue, but may be worth to mention.

Il y a des retouches de peintures et fissures sur certains murs. La moustiquaire de fenêtre est dégradée. Dans les chambres il semble manquer un cache pour les trous devant accueillir les branchements d’une télévision.

Tolles Appartement in ruhiger Lage. Sehr zu empfehlen für Familien.

Eine sehr schönes und modernes Appartement. Die Einrichtung ist sehr geschmackvoll gestaltet und die Küche ist auf dem neusten Stand. So hat die Küche nicht nur einen Kühlschrank und eine Gefriertruhe, sondern auch einen modernen Induktionsherd. Ebenso gibt es im Wohnzimmer einen neuen, internetfähigen Fernseher. Die Lage ist ruhig und es gibt zwei gute Supermärkte in der Nähe, die in 10 Minuten mit dem Auto erreichbar sind. Man besitzt einen eigenen Carport. Ich empfehle die Anreise mit dem Auto aus südwestlicher Richtung über die Rue de la Charrette. (Das Navigationsgerät findet nicht den besten Weg.)

Das Appartement ist wirklich schön. Ich würde aber empfehlen dort nur mit der eigenen Familie zu übernachten. Für eine Übernachtung mit Freunden oder Bekannten ist die Wohnung nicht ideal. Die Küche ist zwar mit den modernsten Geräten ausgestattet, aber von der Grundausstattung ist zu wenig vorhanden. Es könnte viel mehr Besteck und Teller da sein. Wer also selber kochen möchte, sollte hier etwas einpacken. Bei der Kaffeemaschine handelt es sich um ein Gerät von Nespresso. Bei Ankunft ist nur ein Starterpacket mit 4 Kaffeekapseln vorhanden. Hier sollte man auch gleich von zu Hause welche mitnehmen. (Auch sind nur wenige Spülmaschinentabs vorhanden.) Der Fernseher ist das neuste Modell. Aber es gibt keine "vernünftigen Programme". CNN ist noch der beste Fernsehkanal. Der Rest sind französischsprachigen Internetsender, die niemand interessiert. Deutschsprachige Sender gibt es nicht. Apps wie Amazone Prime, Netflix & Co sind auf dem Fernseher installiert, aber man kann diese nur mit seinem eigenem Abonnement anschauen. Diese sind nicht frei verfügbar. Im Schlafzimmer muss man sich als Paar eine Bettdecke teilen. Für "Schlafkämpfer" also weniger geeignet. Der Bahnhof von Tilff ist von dem Appartement zu Fuß erreichbar. Allerdings ist der Weg sehr (!) steil. Falls man also mit der Bahn irgendwohin fahren möchte empfehle ich die Fahrt zum Bahnhof mit dem Auto. Züge fahren am Werktag jede Stunde (bis ca. 22 Uhr). Am Wochenende alle zwei Stunden.

Zeer rustig gelegen modern appartement, ideaal voor een trip omgeving Lluik

Prachtig modern appartement, rustig gelegen met schitterend uitzicht. Mooi terras. Overdekte parkeergelegenheid op afgesloten terrein. Vrijwel naast golfbaan Sart Tilman gelegen. Het dorpje Tilff heeft leuke horeca en ligt op loopafstand (een kilometer dalen/klimmen). Een volgende keer blijven we graag wat langer!

Het appartement had een bad ipv douche, dat was niet helemaal duidelijk. Het andere appartement had wel een douche.
