The apartment was slightly larger than most of the other available options. Instead of the typical 18–20 m², it was over 30 m², as stated on Booking.com. The apartment had been renovated at some point to give it a more modern appearance, and it is clearly a budget accommodation located near the metropolitan areas of Gdynia and Gdańsk. Therefore, it is important not to have premium expectations. The amenities listed in the description were all present. Some were of better quality than others, but everything was usable and generally met our expectations. In this regard, the accommodation fulfilled what we expected from it. It is slightly complicated to access the building and apartment for the first time, but the instructions provided are sufficient and usable. There is one important piece of information that we were not aware of beforehand: the elevator only stops at even-numbered midfloors of the building, while the floors in the elevator are numbered from 0 to 5. This means that, for example, elevator button 2 takes you to the area between floors 3 and 4. We therefore recommend using the elevator to elevator-floor 2 and then taking the stairs down from there to third floor, where is the apartment. Overall, if the owner were to address the unacceptable sleeping conditions, we would be able to recommend this accommodation. Until then, however, we cannot recommend it, as having a comfortable place to sleep is an essential requirement for us.

We were very disappointed with the beds and had one of the worst nights of sleep we have had in a long time. The double bed was quite small and incredibly soft, making it feel like sleeping in a pile of bedding in a trench. The sofa was old and, on the other hand, extremely hard, with noticeable bumps from protruding or broken springs. As a result, it was only possible to get a few hours of sleep out of necessity, with around ten wake-ups during the night. There was also a strong unpleasant smell in the hallway directly in front of the apartment, although we understand that this may not be entirely within the owners' control. The rubbish bins were locked and inaccessible. There were also several smaller issues. The Wi-Fi router did not appear among the available Wi-Fi networks, although we did not pursue the issue further. There was a container with some rubbish on the balcony. There were also stains on the sofa and mattress. The shower head in the bathroom was old and had weak water pressure, which seemed to be an issue with the shower head itself rather than the plumbing. The shower holder was already detached when we arrived. The areas underneath furniture, such as the sofa and bed, had not been cleaned. The freezer had a significant amount of frost built up inside. The living room floor was scratched, presumably from the sofa being moved. There was no washing powder provided and only one dishwasher tablet. Instead of hand soap, there was dishwashing detergent provided by the sink. Overall, the accommodation had several maintenance and cleanliness issues, but the biggest problem for us was definitely the extremely uncomfortable sleeping arrangements, which significantly affected our stay.
