Your lakefront escape begins at A Summer Place. This four-bedroom, three-and-a-half-bath home sleeps a total of 8 and offers effortless access to the water, complete with a private boathouse. Inside, you’ll find three king beds, one queen, and two sets of twin bunk beds in the den. Several bedrooms feature private en-suite baths.
The living room features a large flat-screen TV, a stone fireplace, and soaring windows that frame the lake from the comfort of the sofa. Cooking is simple in the fully outfitted kitchen, with meals easily enjoyed at the six-person dining table. A gas grill is also provided for outdoor cooking.
Keep the fun going indoors with a friendly game of pool, or step out onto the wrap-around deck to take in the lush lakeside scenery. The spacious backyard offers a sun deck and private sitting area. We had a week long family vacation at Lake Toxaway and stayed at A Summer Place right on the lake. Very nice accomodations, spacious and well provisioned. A little pricey and I think charging as much as they do for the simple amenities like using the pool is a bit over the top.

A Summer Place sits on a spectacular lake front lot on Lake Toxaway. The large home has 4 bedrooms and 2 sets of bunkbeads which can easily accommodate 8+. The beds were very comfortable. The home is well appointed with all the kitchen items needed to prepare meals if needed. The home offers a unique charm with decor fitting of a mountain getaway. There was a great surprise inside with a 4x8 slate pool table in the downstairs living space. Lots of fun. The backyard is large and beautiful with a nice sitting area with fire pit just set back from the 2 lake front docks. We watched the sunset from the dock and experienced some really nice views. There are several very large gorgeous trees creating a wonderful canopy to add to the beautiful lake views. There is a full length 2nd story deck with rocking chairs for reading, coffee, and happy hour. We took advantage of the Renter membership at the Lake Toxaway CC. The Club is an extremely nice and exclusive property where we took advantage of a 4 hour pontoon boat rental (include the tube for a great experience), played pickle ball, and enjoyed 2 meals at the club restaurants. The Club has a rich history and provides a fun experience. There are several hiking options right within Lake Toxaway to satisfy the intermediate hiker(Panthertown waterfall is a good option). Downtown Cashiers is an easy 20 minute drive to visit the famous country store and do some fun vacation shopping. There are plenty of good restaurants within a 30 minute drive. Overall, my family and I had a great, peaceful, enjoyable, quite, fun, and relaxing time.

This house is so perfect. It's absolutely beautiful, clean, and perfect for two families of four. We will def return. The marina was amazing, dockhands were great. We loved grabbing Greystone Inn for dinner. It was a great experience overall. The only frustrating part of our vacation has nothing to do with the house, so will def give the house 5 STARS, it truly is a dream property. It is nice that the house comes with the option for a club membership, which we purchased. The frustrating thing is, though, that if you go to the pool they charge $15 per person, per day. That doesn't sound bad, but with four kids under 9 years old we stay at the pool for prob 60-90 minutes (to grab lunch or dinner) before we are ready for a change of scenery, so it's frustrating to have to pay $120 (per day) on top of the membership charge to use the pool. We were referred to "the binder," however w four kids we aren't exactly laying back reading manuals. Just a heads up, but this house was really amazing, we loved it and will def be back!
