Clean & all facilities for a restful and comfortable stay. Peaceful location with lovely outdoor space and view. Would recommend.
The stairs were a little difficult to use for anyone with dodgy legs however there's a handrail and maybe I'm just not used to slatted type stairs. Anyway with two downstairs bedrooms this wasn't an issue.

The Gite was set back away from a very quiet country lane surrounded by the gardens and fields. It had everything you could possibly need with a well equipped kitchen.
The owners had provided a selection of local products, which was a lovely touch.
The dresser in the kitchen included a photo so you knew where to put stuff back.
The flower pot couple kept an eye on things in the garden.
I cannot think of anything that we did not like.

Beautiful location, very nice hosts, who presented us with several gifts upon arrival. The house is very big and very well equipped, including dish towels, dish soap, blocks for in the dishwasher, cleaners, etc, etc. Excellent heat.
The house seemed to be permeated with a smoke smell (which we couldn't get rid of, even after airing out the house for a while). The beds are definitely on the hard side, which we did not consider very comfortable.
