B&B Domus Vettii

A deux pas (15 minutes à pied) de l'entrée du site de Pompéi, emplacement parfait pour faire le site des l'ouverture à 9h. Personnel très réactif par WhatsApp en cas de question. Très propre, tout est neuf (en tout cas dans la chambre Dionysos) avec petit balcon sur cour intérieure (et pas sur rue) très agréable.

La chambre est située vraiment en bordure de la route qui est quand même assez passante mais ça ne nous a néanmoins pas dérangés pour dormir. Juste une mini remarque, ça manque peut être de tablettes de rangement ou de petites étagères dans la salle de bain.

Conforto do quarto, isolamento acústico para barulho da rua (estrada), utensílios de cozinha disponíveis, camas, refrigeração, banheiro espaçoso, gentileza e mimos da proprietária. Fica bem perto das Ruínas de Pompeia, de um grande mercado e de duas estações de trem. Fizemos tudo a pé.

A única coisa ruim é o barulho do andar de cima, que já começa perto das 6h/7h e não para o resto do dia (cadeiras arrastando, coisas caindo). O quarto também dá direto para a cozinha do B&B, onde é preparado o café. Para quem tem sono leve, sugiro dormir cedo.

Spotlessly clean. The air conditioning worked well (30deg+ outside) We did sleep well.

Overall it felt very basic … we’ve been in Italy for 19 nights paying about €200 per night for 4* hotels. This was €175 for a nice but very simple basic room. The shower cubicle was the smallest possible although the bathroom was quite big. Others have said the location is good. We didn’t like it. It’s on a main road about 12 minutes walk from Pompei station .. and about the same to two Pompeii entrances. But there is nothing near it. Our room came with a balcony but its was on the ground floor with the road right by it. Unusable - the photo of the B&B sign is that balcony. The communications with the team were fine (self check in) but there was no real welcome as such. The breakfast choice seems good (you have to choose it and the time the day before with a form) but the quality of items are low. Having your breakfast delivered in the room on a trolley when there is only one chair is not good for a couple.
