Quiet and rest assured in this pretty floral village in the heart of Vaux of Yonne, 26 km south of Clamecy. Rolling green countryside! Near the Canal du Nivernais and Baye Ponds, the Morvan Regional Park, 1 hour of Vezelay and vineyards of Pouilly, Sancerre, Chablis.

Ideal for family holidays together wonderfully outdoor recreation (hiking, biking, water sports, fishing) and discover a rich tourism and cultural heritage!

The cottage offers a very luminous space, tastefully decorated and warm comfort. Complete renovation very recent area of 85 sqm.
On the ground floor: large living room with kitchenette equipped with high-end, oven, dishwasher, microwave. Open fireplace + stove in season, television, DVD player, internet access, stereo (radio, CD, USB, MP3, ipod). Cloakroom / utility room with washing machine.
First floor: 1 room with 1 bed 140, 1 bedroom with 2 twin beds, bathroom toilet, large landing with small sofa 1 pers.
Electric heating in all rooms.
Baby Equipment Complete.
Terrace, garden furniture, barbecue.

The house is wonderful - very well appointed and set in very peaceful surroundings. It was fantastic to be able to step outside the door and be in the fields within minutes. Francoise and Dominique are lovely hosts - very friendly and helpful. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and will definitely be back!

This is a lovely little house with a splendid garden in a fantastically unspoilt corner of rural France. Look elsewhere if you want cafes, restaurants or shops. This is a lovely little village in gorgeous rural countryside close to the amazing Morvan national park and some lovely small towns. But you have to drive to the nearest shop. The owners are delightful and do everything they can for you (including in our case, giving us some delicious fish caught that morning). Note though that they live next door and the garden is in theory shared (though in practice we had it to ourselves). Absolutely clean, well equipped and comfortable. We couldn’t have hoped for more (and Hunter the dog loved it too). We had a lovely stay.

Michaugues is a very small town in Burgundy. The next town with all facilities you need for buying food and other stuff is around 30 Kilometers. Michaugues is very good for visitors which like to hike or making tours with bikes. For all other purposes you have to expect longer routes with your car. The vacation house has enough space for a family with two kids (two seperate bedrooms) and ist fully equiped, included a dishwasher, a microwave and a washing machine. The landlords, which living nearby in the neighbour house are very friendly and helpful. They speaking french (of course) and a very good english and they like it if the visitors bring along a nice pet, like a dog. Although the weather was quite a lot rainy in this week, we enjoy our stay in Michaugues and can recommend this Commodation absolutely.

Whether you are looking for the peace of country walks and cycling through gentle Burgundy or prefer the liveliness of provincial towns with all they offer, in great local food and sports activities, Michaugues is the place for you. Wonderfully situated at the edge of the Morvan, it has hills and lakes nearby as well as delightful historic towns like Clamecy, Corbigny, Vezelay and Nevers. You could not be better received than by Francoise and Dominique. They will be welcoming and hospitable and will make your stay most pleasant. Their generosity is sweet and you will have fresh vegetables from their garden and mushrooms collected from the nearby forests. The gite itself is modern and comfortable with nice views into the garden. The kitchen is very well equipped and there is an excellent supermarket at Corbigny for fresh meat, fish and other produce. Corbigny 20 minutes away is also blessed with a number of bakeries, patisseries and charcuterie. 2015 was our third stay there and we will be returning in 2016. Everything that we can wish for is nearby and we discover something new in the Nievre on every visit. Nicole + Nicos.

We stayed at this lovely house for a week. The house is clean, well maintained where you can feel at home from the moment you arrive. The owner couple is very friendly and welcoming. Only too bad the weather was not so nice while we were there and you need to drive 1 -1.5 hours to do any sightseeing. But if you just want to relax, do nothing, this is the place.

Un week-end prolongé intégénérationel entre Mamans, pour se mettre au calme et ressourcer au sens propre et au figuré dans ce beau département de la Nièvre. Merci à nos hôtes accueillants et bienveillants tout en étant discrets. Nous garderons un super souvenir de ces lieux, au printemps, où les yeux se réjouissent de cette palette de verts, du plus profond et sombre au plus fluo et éclatant, et même d'un défilé de satellites en file indienne dans un ciel étoilé. Et tout cela en n'ayant pas abusé du fruit des vignobles alentours !

Wir haben hier eine Woche mit Chillen verbracht. Die Ruhe und die Natur rundum hat uns gut getan. Die Vermieter sind weltoffen, kontaktfreudig und doch lassen sie einen vollkommen in Ruhe, wenn man das will.

Maison très confortable et spacieuse dans un environnement verdoyant, calme sans aucune nuisance. Tout l'équipement est neuf et bien dimensionné (en particulier la literie). Tout respire la générosité. Notre hôtesse est accueillante, comme une amie de longue date, bien attentionnée mais discrète. Notre projet était d'explorer la Bourgogne dans un rayon de 60 km mais nous reviendrons pour mieux goûter aux alentours de Michaugues, village fleuri.

La gîte etait parfaite! Tout y est de confort, aussi pour les enfants! Très propre avec un grand jardin. Vraiment au calme. Les propriètaires vivent à côté et ça est très agréable. Ce sont des gens vraiment gentils! L'acceuil était très chaleureuse. On s'est vraiment amusé et on y revient surement!

Wir haben nur 5 Tage im gemütlichen Ferienhaus in Michaugues verbracht und waren absolut erholt. Das Ferienhaus ist mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Die Küche bot alles, was wir brauchten.Besonders haben wir den Nebenraum geschätzt, in dem wir unsere Einkäufe und Teile unseres Gepäcks abstellen konnten. Der Ofen, für den Francoise uns immer rechtzeitig neues Holz brachte, machte die gemütlichen Abende perfekt. Der lichtdurchflutete große Wohn-Essbereich mit der Küche ist bei jedem Wetter einladend. Alle Zimmer sowie Küche und Bad waren sehr sauber. Francoise ist sehr hilfsbereit und hat uns einige Tipps für Ausflüge in die Umgebung gegeben. Ganz herzlichen Dank dafür und für all die kleinen Aufmerksamkeiten. Wir haben uns ausgesprochen wohlgefühlt.

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour au cœur d'une région qui nous a enchantés. Le gîte est superbe, lumineux, très propre, avec une belle déco dans chaque pièce, chaleureux avec son feu de cheminée dont on a bien profité. L'endroit est calme et plein de charme. La propriétaire des lieux est accueillante et sympathique; bref, un seul regret: ne pas avoir pu rester plus longtemps!
