It was a lovely apartment, felt like home, would stay again, easy to find and good price

It was cosy and felt like home lovely sunrise in the morning

The bed was massive and not the best to sleep in and no tv in the bedroom but that’s just my preference.

Excellent. Reason for 4/5 on location, 15 min walk no problem, but maybe not for an older person.

The owner left a lovely tea tray with tea cakes and crisps, lovely touch. She phoned before I arrived, sent me a text to ensure I was ok and had everything I needed. She texted next morning to see everything was ok and ask if I needed anything. I'd stay here again.

I found it hard to open the box for the key, never used one before. However, the owner had asked if I wanted to be met there or get in on my own. So, not really negative about the apartment, that was my choice.

Immaculate condition, great location, excellent host

This was our second stay in the apartment the last time being 2022, it is still immaculate, and a nice welcoming tray with a few essentials and some goodies was much appreciated. It is ideally situated with the beach front a few steps away and the town centre less than a 5 min walk. Joanne was an excellent host who contacted on us more than once to ensure everything was OK. We were very happy with our stay.

Location was fine although probably better when the footbridge is reopened. Importantly the property was very clean and the host very accommodating

Perfect Apartment

The apartment was perfect for our 8 night stay. It was tastefully decorated, really comfortable, very clean and had everything we needed. Joanne, the host, was very welcoming, making sure that we were happy with everything. Joanne laid out a welcome tray of tea, coffee etc as well as miniature toiletries. We even had our own parking space. The location is a 5 minute walk into town and the beautiful long beach is just around the corner.

The apartment was spotlessly clean, welcoming and had everything we needed plus little thoughtful extras. Private parking in a quiet location and well appointed for visiting the beach or town on foot or by car. Joanne made sure we had a wonderful stay from arrival to departure and we will definitely be back. If you are looking to eat out you can't go past The Fox & Willow, The 3 Idiots (where we had amazing tapas) or Marco's Fish n Chips for a traditional sea side treat, but we only had 3 days!

Fabulous flat, fabulous host, fabulous value.

Beautifully furnished and sensibly equipped - this lovely flat had everything we needed. Immaculately clean. Bed was fabulously comfortable. Cosy. Quiet location. We found the view of the docks and the sea/coast beyond fascinating. Very handy for walking into town or along prom. Parking and access very easy. Host was super helpful and attentive. Couldn't have asked for more.

Can't think of any way the flat could be improved.

Junior Curling in Ayr

Location was perfect for the town centre and within walking distance of the local facility we were visiting. With the beach so close by we had the very best of everything Ayr had to offer.

Wonderful host.Apartment felt like home from home almost immediately.

Had a wonderful midweek break in this lovely apartment.The property was absolutely spotless and furnishings to a very high standard.We have dealt with many hosts in private rentals over the years but I must say Joanne went that extra mile to be so helpful and accommodating, nothing was any trouble and kept in contact to see if everything was ok .

Lovely little apartment in Ayr with easy access to town and beach.

Great location very near to the town centre but in a quiet residential neighbourhood. Car parking was easy with a reserved space in front of the apartment block. Lovely host who met us to let us in and hand over the keys. Good contact with her throughout our visit. Apartment had everything we required to self cater for three days. Note - on the second floor but stairs and lift available.

Mattress was a bit soft for me - but that is a personal preference and not a complaint !! I would also have liked a small brush and pan in case of dropped crumbs , etc.. ( there was a vacuum available but I was aware of noise if I chose to use it)

The apartment was perfect, contained everything needed for our stay. Joanne was helpful and only a phone call away. Location was ideal, walking distance to pubs and restaurants.

Clear instructions and easy to follow. The reserved parking was a bonus. Really appreciated the welcome card and gifts.

There was nothing. All very straight forward. Would have liked a pint of milk not the little containers, as felt bad using them all and not very environmentally friendly.

Joanne (host) was very nice, informed we could arrive early if we wanted, communications were very good. The appartment was spottlessly clean and was very nieicly decorated, It had everything we needed and the welcome package was a nice touch. There is a small shop very close and town was a short walk away. We enjoyed watching the boats and things going on across the river.
