The space of the apartment isn’t bad. The location is at the edge of trendy De Waterkant. The shower in apartment A was good. Patio and folding doors to patio are nice. It’s along a busy road though.

The maintenance is awful! The cleaning is not great. It smells of smokers and weed. There is no aircon, so the place gets stuffy. There are broken fans running that just make the place noisy, but you need it to keep cool. The sofas are itchy as their cloth covers absorb all the armpit and smoke smells. There is no washing machine, but okay, that was mentioned before I booked. A lot of ceiling lamps are not working. The bedside lamps are both not working. You are next to a busy road at the back, so there is some traffic noise during certain times. But okay. You are in a city. The toilet didn’t flush properly and the flusher was fixed badly with a screw to allow it to flush. That didn’t work so well, and most of the time I was forced to just open the water cistern and flush by pulling it manually up. The pull up blind in the bedroom was broken, so couldn’t open the window properly. The walk from the key pickup / drop off is a bit tedious as it’s up hill over cobblestones partially. Not ideal when you are tired. I rented the place again though, due to the location. But they gave me another apartment. Apartment B this time, not A. Sadly this one has the same style issues. Just absolutely no care for maintenance. And again, the bedsides are not working… why? Maybe it’s a style choice to have broken/non-working bedside lamps. The internet wasn’t bad in the previous apartment, but in the other one, it’s bad, as it uses the same router which stand in the first apartment I stayed in. And the signal doesn’t reach the bedroom. So have to stay in the living room. If the managers read this, please check out your properties. They need cleaning and maintenance. Once you do that, you are good to go. Oh, and yes, there is a damp issue as well. The list is long, and most of them are not hard to solve. The place has weird obsession with broken lights. Also, clean the fans please. They are super dusty. And the toilet seat in apartment B is loose.

Pleasant - But Can Improve

Property was centrally located where we as friends wanted to stay.

Staff at key collection was not aware of our arrival and was rather rude. There was no maintenance done to the pool, and was promised on check-in that they would attend to it. After several requests and the pool turning green we had to sort it out ourselves. They only arrived on Day 6 of an 8 Day stay, but their assistance was not further needed. The garbage for the 3 units was never taken away and left below the front doors of the bottom units, as you entered the building, causing a terrible smell and excess flies in the building, and after requesting over and over again it was eventually removed. Aircons in the two bedrooms do not work at all, and the fans provided only turns the warm air around.

TV was not working, nor connected to a dish or wi-fi as advertised, towels was dirty, bath was dirty, musty smell that you can't sleep or breath, cockroaches everywhere - definitely not a luxury apartment as advertised and what we booked and paid for - false advertising!!!!!

Do not stay here. No security and shady people walking by out back at all times of the day.

Everything. This place is terrible, full stop. Zero security for a ground floor apartment 5 blocks away from the key pickup. The front window at street level has it's outside shutters tied together by a wire that could easily be undone. The back porch sits on a parking lot with a wall that could easily be scaled. 3 people walked by and looked into my porch area within the first hour. We didn't even stay here. I had heard that when previous people complained, they were listed as "no shows" and couldn't write a review. So I paid in full in order to write this and warn others. We got another hotel in another neighborhood. This listing should not even be on Booking.com.

Far too many cockroaches in the cupboards - I had to keep my belongings locked in suitcases. Wifi works intermittently. Certainly not what is advertised in the images. Couch look and feels like its seen better days

The stay was on the whole really pleasant.

The place is well kept and well kitted. It is very central and safe.

The fact that we had to go get the keys at the different location. The electricity got finished. We sat in the dark for 3 hours with no help. We ended up going to the management building to ask them to buy us electricity. That was not nice.

Grand, central Penthouse with a view

Beautiful, well appointed apartment in a central location. Spectacular mountain views and harbour in the distance. Huge wrap around balcony. Luxurious shower in main bedroom.

Jacuzzi on the balcony was not operational as advertised. It was one of the reasons for selecting to stay at this venue and we were disappointed not to have access to it.
