Amazing setting lacking luxury experience

The hotel’s location, views, and overall ambience were truly exceptional—almost surreal. The lush greenery, serene atmosphere, and sweeping sea views created a setting that felt close to paradise. The calmness around the pool area was especially pleasant, offering a quiet retreat that matched the natural beauty of Çeşme. The beach was another highlight: clean, spacious, and refreshingly cool. It quickly became our favorite spot to unwind. Our room delivered on comfort and aesthetics, with generous space, a large and cozy bed, and stunning views of the ocean. Housekeeping was consistent and courteous, and the room service was prompt and pleasant. The breakfast setup offered a reasonable variety, and the dining area had a welcoming ambiance. One standout throughout our stay was the restaurant staff—they were consistently warm, attentive, and genuinely eager to make guests feel comfortable. Their hospitality added a personal touch that made a real difference. It’s clear that the owners are invested in creating a positive environment, and with a few refinements, the overall experience could truly reflect the charm and potential of the property.

While the setting was remarkable, several operational and service-related issues detracted from the overall experience. Around the pool, cleanliness was inconsistent—on multiple occasions, wet wipes were left at the bottom, turning green from prolonged exposure. This suggested a lack of regular vacuuming and attention to detail. The beach, though beautiful, lacked energy and service presence. The setup felt dull, and on windy days, access to the deck was restricted due to safety concerns—yet other guests were allowed to sit with umbrellas opened, which raised questions about consistency. When we tried to use a cabana, we were told they were all reserved, despite many remaining empty. My daughter was even asked to leave one abruptly, which felt unnecessarily harsh. Management later apologized and clarified that the area was meant to be first-come, first-served, but the practice of reserving seats continued. The breakfast, while varied, lacked depth in flavor and creativity. The fruit selection was surprisingly limited, especially given the region’s seasonal abundance. The live egg station offered only fried eggs, which were overcooked and lacked freshness. Coffee quality also left room for improvement. Although the staff were consistently pleasant, it seemed many lacked prior experience in luxury hospitality. One observation worth noting: several servers appeared to be working from early breakfast service through to dinner at 10 p.m., suggesting shifts exceeding 14 hours. This not only impacts service quality but raises concerns about staff wellbeing and operational sustainability. In-room experience also had gaps. Despite the spacious layout and great views, noise insulation was poor—we could hear neighboring guests clearly, which was uncomfortable for a family stay. The bathroom door couldn’t lock properly, and the initial response from maintenance was to “slam it” to activate the latch. Thankfully, this was resolved after further follow-up. Spa staff a little dry if you haven't booked a paid service. The Snack bar menu is very limited. View from the room is not at all what they show on the site. Yes there is a view but you need to be on the balcony and turn your head to the right.

Mediocre stay with terrible check-out experience

The hotel has large territory and spacious rooms. The facilities were clean overall, and the swimming pool area is managed efficiently.

The hotel doesn't have centralized information so I had to call the reception for every little detail starting from Wi-Fi password and ending with the working hours and breakfast service. The A La Carte Restaurant is barely working in the evening and I had to look for staff to get to the restaurant. I had to constantly double check the details because staff members provide contradicting info most of the time. After my check-out, the staff member has given my bag to other guests and I barely made it to my flight because of the back and forth and hotel staff trying to get by bag back to me.

This is one of the loveliest hotels I’ve ever stayed in .. anywhere in the world … exceptional facilities and the most wonderful staff .. the most gracious , kind and helpful people especially Aylin from guest relations . The rooms are excellent too .. each with a glorious view . Wish we could have stayed longer . Superb !

Poor experience overall

Lots of issues that made the stay uncomfortable. No irons and ironing boards, staff lacked English language skills and sought to not speak when able, ie. when calling room service and asking to order a pizza, they said “No English” and did not help. Overall, the hotel lacked service and amenities. The bathroom amenities were a 2-in-1 body wash and shampoo which was bad and charging for a second round of coffee is just petty. Expensive for the service and amenities that we received.

Cosy and friendly

Staff was very welcoming and friendly, the hotel was overall in good shape with all facilities working as expected. The rooms and facilities were overall comfy, welcoming and clean. The breakfast had a wide variety of options including a lot of vegetarian options. There were some minor details which would have been expected from a 5* hotel, but nevertheless, for the price we paid it was a good option.

The "no food and drinks from outside" policy is a bit outdated. It's falling short on some key details or a 5 star hotel: - 2 rooms keys should be provided upon check-in - there should be a booklet or information about the hotel amenities, offers and different operating times in the room - the key card could/should also provide the WiFi password - some water bottles upon checkout would be a nice touch as most travelers will be driving to the airport or next destination - the bed duvet was too small for the size of the bed

Wonderful Family Vacation...

From the moment we arrived, we had a fantastic vacation in a welcoming environment with friendly staff. Special thanks to Ms. Aylin, the Customer Relations Manager, who was incredibly helpful until the very end. Overall, the hotel is perfect for families. It has an amazing view, delicious breakfast, a relaxing spa, and many other great features. I highly recommend it. The spacious balconies are a nice touch, and the various pools are also a lot of fun. Big thanks to the staff for keeping everything so clean and comfortable. The team in the Lobby, Breakfast Lounge, and Restaurant were wonderful. The food was great, and their care made us feel right at home. I can be a bit particular at times, but the reception team handled every issue with a solutions-first attitude and always followed up to make sure everything was sorted. I felt like the customer really is always right here. I’m very grateful for that. A few details: You can control the room with an automation system, which is really convenient. The spa has seawater, thermal, swimming, baby pools (all hygienic), and a jacuzzi. There’s also a gym, massage, hammam, sauna, and steam room. A swimming cap is required for the pool, which helps with hygiene. The hotel is close to Çeşme, Alaçatı, and Ilıca, so there’s plenty to explore. The marina and Ilıca beach are lovely for a walk, and there’s great shopping too. The hotel is very secure, with friendly security staff and CCTV cameras. It also has fire safety measures in place. Breakfast is amazing, with lots of variety and high quality. Plus, you can order hot dishes to your table, and they bring tea, Nescafé, and water to you. The staff is super friendly and welcoming. The Reception and Guest Relations teams are always there to help and are solutions-focused. Luxury, incredible views, romantic, peaceful, family-friendly, great value, and advanced technology. Conclusion: We want to thank everyone who made us feel so at home during our vacation with our 8-month-old baby

We had an incredible family holiday at Cesme, Turkey, and Onlive Deluxe Hotel property was a big part of what made it so special. What really stood out to me was the stunning views of the Sea from our room's balcony - it was breathtaking! The staff were warm and welcoming, and the food at the hotel's restaurant was delicious and varied. What really impressed me, though, was the hotel's attention to detail and commitment to making our stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. From the luxurious bedding to the thoughtful touches in our room and the spa and Hammam We can't wait to go back and do it all again!"

On’live is the paradise where all the dreams come true!!!

The On’live hotel in Cesme is the most beatifull in design, atmosphere, cleaning, food, services, spa and staff. The food in restaurant a la Carte and in the beach restaurant is excellent in quality,taste and presentation (p.e kalamari and sea bass superb). The spa outdoor and indoor and the multiple 5 swimming’s pool access with no previous booking make the stay relaxing with no required appointments. All the staff is very hardworking and educate, besides lovely concierge reception staff, attentive room service, lovely breakfast waiters, attentive and kind staff in the restaurant and in the pool bar staff, specially mention to Mr. Volkan and Mrs.Heve. Is remarkable the quick performance in solving issues as cleaning the room, get the beach by golf buggy, and quick room service. At last but not at least , We would like to give our greatest thanks to lovely and kind Banu (Sales manager), as we know we will never forget the profesionality and good vibes she gave to everybody but specially to us. At the same time our greatest thanks to the lovely Aylin (guest relantionship manager) for your kind way of asking us for anything we may need and for the resolution in providing an extra sofa in the room. On’live is the paradise where all the dreams come true!!!

Loved the swimming pool and the temperatures the view from our room was amazing. The breakfast was good, and delicious outdoor seating was great. The beds were comfortable, but not the pillows. The spa was amazing, but if you want someone to do a turkish bath, you need to reserve

Celebrated our wedding at this hotel and had a great time!

We celebrated our wedding at the On’Live hotel in the beginning of June. The hotel was very quiet which was amazing - felt like we hired the whole place out! The rooms were spacious, with breathtaking views on the sea. Breakfast has a nice variety of food but you’d need to ask to make any hot meals and it wasn’t very clear what’s available so a breakfast menu could be helpful! The facilities are good, the pool, the spa - both were amazing! The beach, however, wasn’t as impressive (seemed a bit unkept) but the neighbouring On’Tur beach that you can easily access was good and had a beach bar as well so it wasn’t an issue overall. The staff deserve a separate comment, it’s a bit complex. Most of those we encountered were friendly and nice. But. I don’t think this hotel is catered for english speaking audience so language was a bit of an issue sometimes, we’d need to call someone to translate. Some of the waitresses seemed inexperienced (potentially due to their age) and so any restaurant visit would take a bit long and have some mixups. The food at our wedding was amazing and everything worked out perfectly, the hotel management team was very helpful and we’d recommend people celebrating their wedding at On’Live! There was only one but - the waiters seemed to want to work a bit too much so some plates were taken before people even had a chance to finish their meal. That’s what happened to our wedding cake - we left our plates at our sweetheart table and once we were back - it was already taken away so we didn’t have a chance to try it but heard from our guests that it was delicious
