High-end, fully furnished, beautiful contemporary home on a private, four-acre, wooded estate next to Butternut Mountain. An open, three-level floorplan, tons of natural light throughout, hardwood floors throughout, fully accessorized professional and newly updated gourmet kitchen, two sinks, and top of the line appliances. Home also features double faced wood burning fireplace, large deck off the breakfast room, another deck with fire pit, brick patio off den. Large windows throughout the house bring in light and offer unbelievable, serene forest views with a brook that runs through the property. Property includes a new 8 person Jacuzzi. Extremely private and quiet. Built by artist with amazing attention to detail. A true escape. 1/2 mile from Butternut Ski Mountain; minutes to Main St Great Barrington, which was named #1 small town in America by Smithsonian Magazine (2012 issue); and for hiking, minutes to Monument Mountain, a wonderful hike with spectacular views, or right around the corner from the Appalachian Trail.

We had the pleasure of staying in this beautiful home for our holiday get together. Photos do not do this home justice and it is truly exceptional. Large roomy bedrooms, huge windows that invite the outside in and beautiful, unique artwork that round out the decor. The two living rooms have large soft furniture that is great for gathering and the massive kitchen is well stocked with everything you could possibly need. The master bedroom suite is a wing in itself. The backyard with lovely stone fire pit and hot tub back up to a wooded view. It's true that this house is expensive but if you are looking for something special, this is it.

My girlfriends and I get together once a year, and we all love to cook and hang out and catch up. This house is so tasteful and comfortable, and spacious, we all felt very much at home - we barely left the house over the weekend to explore the surrounding area, the view was so pretty of the forest. We enjoyed sharing recipes and cooking in the big beautiful kitchen, and relaxing by the fire. This house exceeded expectations, and the owner and local liaison were more than available and helpful throughout the whole booking process and the stay. They even sent me back my fancy face cream I mistakenly left in the master bathroom. Highly highly recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at this home for the ski season. The home had everything we needed from linens and towels to a fully stocked kitchen with plenty of plates and cookware. The home was plenty big and provided ample room for our family and guests when we needed it. The homeowners were fully accessible and so helpful for any questions we had. We would definitely stay here again and plan to do so!

This house is a gem, in a gorgeous private woodland setting, while only 7 minutes from Great Barrington. Outdoor spaces where guests can sit quietly, play games, take a hot tub or grill dinner, extend the living space into nature. The house is filled with unique architectural details and art that brings beauty and inspires joy. The layout is unique with 2 master bedrooms on the second floor and 2 bedrooms on the above ground basement level, lending privacy to all. The professional kitchen is a chef's dream. This property welcomed and invited us to create wonderful memories. Thank you, Margaret
